The Draft Pick Authority!

Once again this year Press Pass will lead the pack and deliver the first autograph, memorabilia and licensed rookie cards of the 2008 NFL draft pick class! The last three years we have delivered our products prior to the draft and we will guarantee that promise again this year!

Again this year, the draft has many NFL teams wishing they had higher picks to land the next great player. Three QB's include Matt Ryan - Boston College, Brian Brohm - Louisville, and Andre Woodson - Kentucky are all top 15 picks. The RB class includes projected first rounders Darren McFadden - Arkansas, Rashard Mendenhall - Illinois, Felix Jones, Arkansas and Limas Sweed - Texas. There are five wide receivers projected to be drafted in the first round including Early Doucet - LSU, Adarius Bowman - Oklahoma State, Desean Jackson - California, Malcolm Kelly - Oklahoma and Mario Manningham - Michigan. Finally, there are four additional QB's projected to be drafted in the first three rounds; John David Booty - USC, Chad Heene - Michigan, Colt Brennan - Hawaii and Erik Ainge - Tennessee. Is there a Tom Brady in this bunch?

Final Ratings (Out of 5):

Base Set - 4.0
Fun - 4.5
Overall Design - 4.0
Value - 4.0
Rebuy - 3.5

Final Grade - 20/25 (80%)

28 packs is a lot of packs, speaking for myself, I am used to opening boxes with 10-12 packs or so. It didn't help pulling the 5 autos in the first handful of packs, and basically knowing nothing else was coming. The set and design looks very similar to past years, especially the autos which are identical in appearance. It was definitely a fun box to break as they came in on draft day, and what better way to kick off a draft party then opening a box of 2008 draft pick cards in Press Pass.

For me, being a auto, higher end collector, the value and rebuy value isn't really there. We did well on the parallels but the auto selection wasn't great. Enjoy the break

Once again, on behalf of SCF, I would like to thank Press Pass for providing us with this box of 2008 Press Pass Football Hobby.
