Well, another championship under the loaded belt of Sir Alex Ferguson. Anyone watch the game today and have any comments? HUGE win for the men in Red. Ronaldo showed up on the largest stage (other than missing in PK's) and Van der Sar was HUGE!

I'm not much into soccer but I have to admit I was into that game the pk's at the end was pretty sweet I wanted them to shot a few more :)

Brilliant game, what more can you say :party0053:
Fergie is the man that makes it all happen, and what a way for Giggs to break Bobby Charlton's record. All around it was a great for me, as the game was played on my Birthday, and I got my best Birthday gift ever !!!

Now I'm looking forward to next year, I wonder if Ronaldo will be on the team ?

Very nice gift! I think he will return. He is loved so much and he knows it. He's the best player in the world and if he moved he would have a LOT of people as his personal enemies. I wager that he stays. At least, I hope that he stays!

I personally would like to see him stay, but only if he can keep quiet and let his feet and head do the talking. People are starting to get a little bit tired of hearing his name being constantly linked with Real Madrid. I feel if he stayed with United, he would win more Champions League Cups than he would if he moved to Real Madrid.

That was a brilliant game. I wish I could say my club had the same result...I have to wait until next year for Bristol City to take another shot at the Prem. We just simply don't have quality finishers up front and it killed us Saturday. The incredible goal by Windass was painful to watch again and again, but I'd rather lose that way than on a terrible mistake.

One of my friends is a huge Man U supporter and is on cloud 9 right now.

Liverpool supporter here - but congrats to ManU on a fantastic season. I just wish Rafa could put things together for a Premiership run. I have to admit to chuckling a bit at Terry's slipup, I know most Liverfans hate ManU the most, but this Chelsea side are just so easy to despise.

Can't blame you, maybe that would be the only way Liverpool could win anything in the future if the other teams had massive injuries......:-)

Drogba is who cost the Blues that game. I've really been a big fan of his for some time, but letting his emotions get the better of him in crunch time was rubbish. The way I see it is that a Man U title helps grow soccer in the States. I teach and coach in a Southeastern public high school, and the game was a big topic of conversation in most of my classes.

As an Arsenal fan i was hoping for both teams to lose...

Anyway at least Ronaldo is motivated for the Euro and hopefully weŽll finally win a major tournament.

Congratulations to United tough, at least they play nice looking football instead of the "1-0 is enough" type of football Chelsea plays.

Very odd thing to watch a game for!! But as 'mufc' said, Liverpool will probably only win a major trophy or move up from their regular 4th place EPL finish if the other three top EPL teams have key injuries throughout a season!! On another note; Up the VILLA!!

I agree with your Rafa comment. I think the owners situation this past season hasn't helped the club, however not all of the off the pitch problems can be held responsible for their on the pitch woes! Torres has said he wants to remain at Liverpool for a considerable amount of time, so that should be a good offensive player for Liverpool to use. Maybe with all the Players the Gunners are losing this off-season, Liverpool may be able to make up some ground next season.

Hleb is gone to a different side. Wenger is looking to actually make a few aggressive moves out-of-season.

In a nutshell........Manchester United I feel will repeat as EPL Champions, and also win the Champions League (Mainly because of Sir Alex) Liverpool and Arsenal will falter, and Chelsea will be close. My picks for the Euro's is Germany and Portugal.

PS. But as my Wife constantly reminds me....I'm wrong more times enough !!!

Regardless of our choices....it's great to see Football doing well.
