Well about a month ago I sent in an expired redemption for a 2000 Score Team 2000 Autograph of Emmitt Smith #/50...........I talked in e-mails to the customer service manager and he said If they didnt have the card they would offer substitutes and if they did they would redeem it anyways........I was happy either way, I almost traded the card away for a couple small cards, but im glad I didnt......

Well today I got a bubble mailer from Customer Service, I knew it was regarding this card......

I was very sad to not see the Emmit Smith Auto in there, but they substituted it with these:

Drew Bledsoe Auto #06/50 BV-$100
Ricky Williams Auto #15/50 BV-$100

The Emmitt Booked at $250, and Was a definate sell.......These I know arent nearly as valuable, I wanted to keep the Emmitt to hold on to......I dont know what Im going to do with these yet......

At least they did redeem it. Congrats on that. I know a few companies would have just ignored you. I would actually be more satisified with that cause Drew is my favorite player too, lol!

I know im very happy with the customer service. I like the Drew and the Ricky, especially because its basically for free since the redemption was expired.......But I dont understand what they would have done with all the Emmitts?.......If they still had these, then they didnt destroy the remaining set redemptions..........And theres 50 redemptions for 50 cards, why wouldnt they have the Emmitt?...............Also Id much rather have the Emmitt than the Ricky or Drew..............Emmitt is such a great player.....in fact I have his poster in front of me right now as im typing!....

hmm... I would say you got lucky just getting something like that back.. Many congrats on two great cards. I know they are not the same as you mentioned but how can you go wrong getting two cards back of that magnitude

Like everyone else said, feel lucky you got something for it. As far as the Emmitts that are gone; they probably went out as a replacement.
