who is the best hall of famer to ever play the game of baseball, is it roger maris, mickey mantle or another legend?

Really appriciate being able to watch Barry Bonds play, because when all is said and done, you might be watching the best player ever in game of baseball.

The phrase "best" hall of famer is subjective...however, based on talent, consistency & overall integrity here is my pick:

Between DiMaggio and Williams. The latter would be a sure-thing had he not fought in WWII & the Korean War.

i would say babe ruth he changed the way people thought of a home run and also was a good pitcher as well

tough question... my personal favorite player of all time just got elected, Gary Carter. However, he's not nearly the best to make the HOF. I'd say either Gherig, Dimaggio, or Williams. Babe Ruth may be great... but he was helped way too much along the way. Case and point, the Yankee Stadium outfield.
