Final Thoughts:
2007/08 Topps Finest is back again with the usual goodies! Each mini-box has one autographed card and one redemption for a 2008 draft pick. There's a good chance to pull a top rookie from this year AND from the 2008 draft. That alone makes this box fun to bust. Master boxes sell for $120-130, so the mini-box value would be around $40.
Each pack doesn't disappoint. There are no packs that have all base. Basically, you are going to get rookies and/or parallels in each pack. We got a total of twelve base cards in six packs. A full master box would have yielded about thirty-six base cards (total of 50 base in set). The #1 draft pick redemption (Derrick Rose) was the best pull in this box. This card alone sells for about $40 currently! A very nice pull that makes up the entire value of this mini-box. Unfortunately, the autograph card was a disappointing pull. I don't believe Herbert Hill had much playing time this season. We also only pulled one numbered card, which is another disappointment. Perhaps the other mini-boxes that were part of this master box would have yielded more. Instead, we got three refractor rookies, which probably beats the odds for a mini-box. The refractor designs are always nice, but in my eyes they don't seem to look as good this year as previous years. We got some big name rookies in Oden and Jeff Green. Overall, I believe we did very well. If it wasn't for the #1 draft pick redemption card, this box would have been a disappointment.
As with all of our other official reviews, these cards will be made available to SCF members through contests, card cash store, and SASE.
Once again, I would like to thanks Topps for sending us this mini-box of 2007/08 Topps Finest.
