This group break will be conducted using a draft. That means, once we get four people wanting to be on this break, I will enter all names into a randomizer and it will pick the draft order. First name gets pick 1, 5 and 9 second name gets pick 2, 6 and 10, and so forth...

Once the list is created, members can then trade their spot to another member over the next 24 hours. After that time has passed, all members are locked into their pick position. Once you post interest in the break, you cannot back out because you are not happy with the pick you end up.

Once the picks are locked, I will proceed with the break after the box has arrived. Hopefully, I can do it via video break. I will post the break here, along with scans if necessary.

To get in on this group break, you just need to reply to this thread stating that you are in. Remember, only the first four getting in can participate.

pick 1 means he gets to choose the 1st card out of all the rest.also back to his turn to pick again for 5 and 9?

or

in th beginning i thought how is pick 4 gonna pay the least and get 4 and 8.is that out of card order as in,all packs are opened and he gets card 4 and 8?

This is conducted like a draft in terms of choosing cards. I will bust two tins of Sweet Spot. After all ten cards are revealed, the member with pick 1, 5, 9 gets to go first with pick 1 and choose any card from the break. Then the member with pick 2, 6, 10 gets to pick any card still available. Then the member with picks 3 and 7 goes followed by the member with picks 4 and 8. Then we go back to the first member since he'she has pick 5 and continue until all cards are chosen. That's why the top set of picks cost more than the bottom set.

The problem with the old way is that it's unfair to everyone who wants the top pick when it becomes the first person online after posting the group break gets it...

Virtually everyone wants the top spot. This ensures it is fair for everyone who wants the top spot has a chance instead of the first person who sees it getting it. Then the draft works as well because we get people committed to doing the break instead of waiting for people to fill in the rest of the spots.

Good news...I went ahead and busted the boxes...apparently 1 tin had 6 cards instead of 5, so there's 11 cards total. I did a video of the break and didn't realize as I didn't even mention the 11th card...so there's 9 hits and two base cards... :)
