Order should be here by Thursday. Prices haven't been set, but if you are interested, please send me a PM. Draft position prices will depend on how many members are interested in the break.

Im interested again! You are a great group break "leader"

I'd most likely be interested, depending on what the price breakdown would be.

palantri

sign me up too, as long as there arent too many people involved

Already had you guys down. :)

Seeing if there's other interest out there.

Minimum, 4 people. Maximum, 6.

interested..what are we busting, one box? multiple boxes? just wondering how much to expect it to cost

RenegadeLonghorn
08-12-2008, 02:09 AM
One box. Cost will depend upon number of participants. If we have 4, it will likely be very similar to the costs of the first group break (below).

1-$50
2-$35
3-$25
4-$20

i want in ... as usual

ren .. personally i think 4 is plenty like last time :)

maybe this time i can get 1st or 2nd spot

palantri
08-12-2008, 11:45 AM
id also be happy to pay for the first spot again
Ed

ocsupertone81
08-12-2008, 03:01 PM
i still think we need to keep it at 4 spots only... that way it makes it even in terms of how many cards and all.. i got dibs on first spot though. :)

not to but in or anything but to my knowledge of group breaks, its usually the first 4 to respond get the 4 spots and well...you were #5

ocsupertone81
08-12-2008, 03:08 PM
im sorry ... but its the 4 people that were in it last time that get a shot first... and i was in it last time

palantri
08-12-2008, 03:12 PM
guys, there doesnt need to be a fight here, there are enough on other threads- lets let the thread designer decide who is going to be in the break, after all, hes the one who needs to get the money...not any of us...

Ed

ocsupertone81
08-12-2008, 03:15 PM
well.. as per any other break.. i feel the people that participated in the last one have the right to say whether or not they are in or not first..

palantri
08-12-2008, 03:18 PM
i tend to agree- but ultimately, its up to the guy buying the box who he invites in his break. Subject closed, lets just look forward to the break later this week

I said up to 6 can participate. Not sure why an argument here happened. We have five confirmed so far. 4 minimum, 6 max.

well .. i think that we'd rather do it w 4 ren... me,palantri, nadeau and tennis... the same 4 that was in the last time.. is that ok?

nadeau01_johnson48

It's his break....let him do 6.

Besides, it'll be cheaper for some of the group members that might not have a lot to spend ON the break.

RenegadeLonghorn
08-12-2008, 08:15 PM
ocsupertone81-I'm not going to deny people the opportunity to get in on this.

I also will have to figure out a rotation system if multiple members have interest in the same picks. Looks like a lot of you are wanting the #1 spot.

nadeau01_johnson48

I say just go with the automatic draw thing like Tony does with his breaks....that seems the fairest, since it seems like we'd all like the 1st spot, lol.

tennisdevils

just a suggestion: maybe we could do what i put in the last thread: have a draft to see who gets what player, and then have another draft for the cards not of those players. we could also random off the duals pulled

ocsupertone81
08-12-2008, 08:45 PM
6 doesnt make sense.. there was 32 cards total.. so each of us got 8 when we had 4 people in it

if there was five people ... the first two spots would get 7 card..the last three would get 6

if there was six people .. the first two would get 6 cards.. the remaining 4 would get 5 cards.

i would like to keep it at four because it keeps it simple.. in the number of cards everyone gets.. as well as figuring out prices(they're already figured out for four people)

RenegadeLonghorn

Not sure how picking a player will fly with you guys. I still think this is the best way to do it. Worked very well last time.

Jeremy-I will likely do a drawing. Whoever gets the #1 pick this break won't be eligible to get the #1 pick in the next group break. This is what I'm leaning towards doing.

I hope this way is fair to everyone.

ocsupertone81

i dont think we should work a draft.. because last time palantri got to pick the first spot.. i asked for it this time.. and next time give it to someone else.. and so on..fair enough?

2nd.. i dont know that picking a player works.. lets say you pick" nadal" and nothing at all comes out nadal.. how would that work?

There are 24 hits in the box. If we have six people, each person gets 4 hits. Isn't that fair? So six makes perfect sense to me.

well ..there's 32 total cards.. so the breakdown wont be even... someones getting extra cards then..

RenegadeLonghorn

I think you forget about the price difference for everyone. You are making a big deal because four people won't get an insert.

Yes, this way makes the most sense. 6 people, random draw for positions. Everyone gets the same about of GU/Autos.

Whoever gets #1 can't get it the next time around.

PERFECT!

well.. how u gonna adjust price wise? i mean the system last time worked great ...so why altar it?

and.. how bout the first pick thing? palantri could end up w/ it again if u drafted( remember he picked 1st pick last time?) .. thats why i said until everybody gets a shot at it.. so wed have to do a couple more breaks of this.. it doesnt seem fair to give him a shot at ending up w/ it a 2nd time in a row.. (sorry palantri..)

More people = cheaper prices. It'll all work out, don't worry so much about it.:winking0071:

Palantri has every right to get the #1 pick this break. There was no rotation system in place. Nobody else expressed interest in the #1 draft position last time too.

I'm sorry if you think this isn't fair. Everyone else likes the direction its going.

Ash- you know how I feel about this break- Ill back out if it will make certain people stop whining...

ocsupertone81
08-12-2008, 10:53 PM
well i dont care if palantri is in. but i think someone else should get first pick...just to be fair.. and stop w/ the "he's whining please"

palantri
08-12-2008, 10:54 PM
why do you deserve the pick? or more importantly, why dont I? the last break wouldnt have happened unless I volunteered to take the cost and the first pick- no one else was willing to do so. yeah, i did get a nice card with the first pick, but why should I be excluded from having the chance to get the first pick this time?

frankly, I cant stand your attitude, you seem to think that people owe you something, and that bothers me.

RenegadeLonghorn
08-12-2008, 11:02 PM
ocsupertone-please stop questioning and bickering about this break. I will proceed in my and the members best interests. I'd rather have a break get off the ground then no break at all. So this discussion ends now.

ocsupertone81
08-12-2008, 11:05 PM
well.. knowing his luck he'll get first pick again.. someone else should have a shot at it...

dont tell me im bickering.. all im doing is trying to keep it fair!
