No comparison, Sosa is far superior... Id rather have Jeter though in a big game situation. You gotta remember, Sosa is a Cub and Cubs dont get too many chances at big games..:D

It's hard to compare the 2 because their games are so different. I'd take Jeter over Sosa on my squad though.

I've got to go with Sosa! He just seems to get better and more consistant as a hitter every year.

Jeter, had that great year a couple of years back and has settled below that since.

Jeter had a bad season last year. But I think he'll rise to the challenge Steinbrenner has set. As a contact hitter, Jeter. But with HRs - Sosa.

Sosa is better stats wise but if i need 1 or 2 runs i take Jeter.

Sosa is a better all around hitter, but jeter is a better contact hitter

sosa has amazing power and can hit one out at any time but jeter is good in big games and can put the bat on the ball.

id take sosa

2 1/2 years later!
Well, in another 2 1/2 years, Jeter will be better than Bonds because Bonds won't be playing either.
It doesn't mean that Jeter will have a career better than either of them.

Exactly. No clue why this was bumped up. Pretty stupid if you ask me though.

I can't believe a thread that hasn't had a post in over 2 years gets new life. I'm moving this to Pro Sports Baseball Forum anyhow since it's not about cards.
