Boxes with Lettermen in them? If SP Threads or whatever didn't ruin lettermens, this will.

considering every set does this now...yea pretty much...why cant these companies come up with unique ideas instead of driving the same ideas into the ground

when I got back into collecting last year I thought the whole idea of a letterman was cool now I this kts downright annoying. I am gonna start taking the nameplates off my patriots jerseys and making my own letterman cards. They can't be any worse than this crap coming out these days. We should start brainstorming some ideas for a new type of card and send our ideas into them.

Have you guys seen pictures of this product yet?
Sticker autographs placed over the Letterman Patches. The most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. You will have to pay me to open this product!

Whoa, is AP actually trying to write his name legibly now? :)

Whoa, is AP actually trying to write his name legibly now? :)

He needs to go back to his regular auto. This one looks like a second grader just learning cursive wrote it.

A sticker over a jsy? How soon before the glue wears off and the sticker falls off. That's terrible imo! Plus, AP's new sig is awful too. His original one is WAY better.

Could that be a little thin piece of plastic in there over the letter with the auto on it? Kinda like these have a piece of plastic over the GU part?

usually the prototypes feature a player's "contract/payroll signature" not their autograph.
Im sure All-Day's auto is still crazy looking as it was last year!

all i can say about topps lettermen (from what ive seen or purchased from basketball) is that the lettermen booklets are very interesting, besides the fact that (like almost all products these days) when you think its short printed (#/5 lets say) there are 20 different variations. But other than that this manufactured patch thing is out of controll.

That is straight garbage.

The autographs over the patch looks like.... butt.

Topps is trying to outdo Paradigm as the worst set ever... Sorry to any of you dropping good coin on this garbage, but this is just one of the worst products I have ever seen. Stickers on patches????? I don't care if the have a plastic tab over the card to place the sticker on, this just looks horrible. I can get making fake patches and having players sign them. But making fake patches and placing stickers on them is just completely idiotic.

I have not opened a football product in well over a month, and it's not looking like anything will break that trend very soon. Topps, UD, DLP, all putting out mid-season GARBAGE.
