Really love the look of the Artifacts cards!!! Glad I'm getting a case of 16 boxes that I won on ebay!!! Also think the Legend Masterstrokes look very nice and the Fleer Ultra are sharp. I'm going to be buying a bunch of hockey cards this year and it is going to cost me some money.

Artifacts looks cool, the Frozen Artifacts are basically the jersey cards from 07/08 Ice but the Autofacts and Tandems look great. I was never really a big fan of Artifacts but I think I will make it a point to pick up some singles this year.

How do you guys think the legends will sell? I picked up 6 packs from Enigma....

I'm not overly impressed with the Ledgends. The Artifacts look great and I really like the retro OPC!

I think I might buy some OPC this year. I don't buy boxes but I like the fact that your not always going to pull a game used. I guess this makes them more collectible.

In the Ultra Product highlights it says 2 Jersey or Signature cards per box but when you look at the Insert Highlights it says Fresh Ink 1:288 packs. Also the EX Hockey Jambalaya are 1:864 packs!!! Those are going to be hard to get but probably won't sell as well as they should for being so hard to get.

I don't know what it is about UD base sets as of late, while the photography is nice and everything I wish they would put more effort into the design instead of just stamping a foil name on the card. What happened to borders?

At least the Young Guns are using team colors in there now instead of tons of foil that is hard to read. The Fab Fours look nice I guess, but similar to 07/08. Too bad the sell sheet doesn't show the new Game Jersey or Signature Sensations designs, I'm anxious to see them.

I have never been a big Artifacts fan but I'm starting to come around, especially after seeing some of the designs on the sell sheet for 08/09. I most likely won't be breaking any but I will definitely pick up an Autofacts and maybe a patch or two for my Gaborik PC.

If I pull any Gaboriks I'll hold them for you Inferno.

i'm still wondering if there's ever going to be a pre-release sheet for UD Black (not diamond). in theory the product was suppose to be out this past week but got delayed until next week. kinda strange that there's no checklist or release sheets. hopefully this product won't be pushed out and out until it gets buried by the other releases.

I have always had luck with Trilogy.....
Ice Scripts Crosby, Dual Patch Hejduk/Theodore #1/5 AND #5/5 to name a few.....Also pulled some guy name PRICE RC at the Upper Deck Store.....

I know a lot of people dont like Trilogy...but I get better luck with Trilogy than any other brand

i think this guy has every single card in the set except for a few that upper deck apparently never released.

Trilogy looks better this year since Upper Deck recognized that people were complaining about it. Now with the 2 Levels of Rookies and multiple player swatches it looks more promising. Always liked the Trilogy base cards.

I remember Pacific did that...I have base, gold, emerald green, copper, ice blue, red & premier date for the exact card.....they could have at least made them with different pictures or something....sheesh

I agree about too many parallels in Artifacts. That is a problem for player and set collectors.

wow, i must say im impressed with trilogy and sp game used. on the other hand, the product i usually look foward to is spx, and that looks like garbage. when is upper deck gonna switch over to the same format they use with every other sport for spx. i'm tired of spx hockey consisting of these week 24 packs boxes with 20 packs being junk. they need to go with the $20 packs with 10 packs/box and one jersey/auto per pack with a 5 jersey, 4 auto, 1 patch per box breakdown.

I like the concept behind the Acetate RCs in UD2. Should make for a nice pull...here's hoping for some Max Pacioretty!!! Must say that I'm not super thrilled with the design on the Rookie Materials. There's nothing really there that distinguishes these from any other jersey cards. Yeah the last couple years with the shaped R isn't jaw-dropping, but at least it's different.

I agree with SPx...they should go with the more expensive packs but having a hit in every pack

Actually hockey cards sales for them must be really good because they keep creating new products and they wouldn't do that if they weren't already selling the products they already make.

I really like the FW.. they have other things too it seems (SP Chirography again according to the checklist, Marks of Distinction, Penned Perfection).. didn't reveal the design though

I think there are only autographed memorabilia cards in the product but I could be wrong.

They usually have the SIGnificance set.. dual autos and all.. and yes I think it's possible to get an auto in a pack with a memorabilia card as well (not 100% sure though)
