I think Pinella will turn the team around, as he did with Seattle when he took over. Maybe not in one season but over a few seasons. I like his goals and he's happy to be close to home, always a good incentive whether a manager or player.

Is he a great manager? Sure... but you still need talent to win, and the Rays are struggling in that department.

its depnds whether their super outfield prospects Rocco Baldelli Josh Hamliton and Carl Crawford develop and get better

I don't think s manager makes that big of a difference. They will still stink for a couple of years then maybe he will turn them around.

He should be able to improve the game of Aubrey Huff by keeping him in the line-up.

Lou will light a fire under the rays meaning they wont quit midway through the season like the last couple of years he will also make baseball in florida a little more exciting hit and run running the bases but they at best will win 75 games

Definitely. Not nearly fixed, exactly.

I think the best the Devil Rays can hope for is a team that works better as a team, but there's a star quality missing from Tampa Bay. You never know what to expect... but certainly, adding Lou to the scenario increases the odds of improvement.

yes definatly

Star quality didn't do much with Boggs and McGriff in the line-up. I think Aubrey Huff will become the star...when he's traded to another team.
