I have 5 signed baseballs.
Mickey Mantle
Ted Williams
Nolan Ryan
Derek Jeter
Johnny Bench
None of them have authentication papers. They have all been signed in front of family members.
Do I have to get them authenticated to sell?
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks.
They are all for sale or for trade.

YES!!!! Especially with those players. A COA is the difference of 100.00 dollars to 1000 dollars

I would advise getting them authenticated.
Not sure if you are aware of this site or not but it's a good place to start.

Thanks.
No problem. If it becomes available I would be intersted in the Bench.

Did you ever get them back? How was your experience with PSA/DNA?

Thanks for the input. How much did it cost to get them authenticated?

$100.00 for the Mantle
$75.00 for the Williams
The Jeter was $50.00 and I did not feel that I wanted to spend that much on a player who is still alive. So I passed on that one.
I still have a McGwire, Ryan, Bench and few others that I got in person. I'm going to hold off on those as well. Maybe I'll get the Jeter and McGwire authenticated later, since they have a higher value than the others.
