1. NINE card Joey Logano subset
2. Joey Logano Cup Chase card
3. Joey Logano Unleashed insert card
4. Joey Logano Burning Rubber

OK - the kid won a Nationwide Race and he is EXPECTED to be very good in Cup
But come on!!!

I guess the Joey subset is to match the Tony subset

Shouldn't Joey just be covered by the Cup Chase Field card??

Why an Unleashed card - it's suppose to be "Season's best victory celebrations"
He is the only Nationwide included

Burning Rubber - his Cup starts haven't been stellar {yes I know some weren't in the best equipment}. If they use Nationwide rubber why him & no other Nationwide drivers?

I think this is all just a little much for a Rookie. Rather like all the Montoya hype his rookie year only worse.

Did anyone else notice that the Jr. Burning Rubber sig series is numbered 8/8!! Did I miss something here?? If memory serves me right, I believe he changed to a new car number recently. Ummm....I'm lost here.

I wish they'd do something totally new, same old same old, I like the VIP with the Nets, Belts, (the clear window pulls was stupid though). The only thing i seem to like is the Numbered four wides, hopefully they'll have auto four wide sig series soon. Sig Patch cards like they do in Hockey.

Santa hats worn by the driver???? Kinda reminds me of the Rookie Swatches UD makes for their NHL releases " this jersey piece was worn by ........................... for a photo shoot. Totally unrelated to the sport.

Hope the case busters break a ton, cause I'll just be looking for a set and cards of my drivers. Ain't gonna waste money on boxes .

According to PP, Dale jr. Sig Series cards will be either 88 or 8 according to how many pieces they will have available for them. I would figure that tires would firt under the 88 category.

Either way, i will do like I did last year wiht '08 PP...I will buy a master set.

Jr. is contracted for so many auto's per year, so he only signs so many.
Thats why you only see 8/8 Signature Series cards for that product release.
With Jr. only signing so many cards, Press Pass had to figure out which one's he would sign and which ones he wouldnt sign.
Like the Newest release of Wheels American Thunder. You wont find a Trackside Treasury signed by Jr anywhere in this product and if Press Pass would have said that Jr. Wasnted going to the sign the the Trackside Treasury I would have saved myself about $400.00 and NOT bought 4 boxes looking for it!!!!

As Kevin already stated...Jr's contract is to only sign X amount of cards...if he signs a run of 88 for each sig series release ...they wouldn't have enough left to do the other runs in the autograph series that they have....plus with them going to 8 on the sig series ...it will help to jump start the market for those LUCKY 8 people...it sucks as a collector of Jr to have only 8 ...but if you pull one it is a solid $500 card...
the santa hats are something different...we as mostly adult collectors may think they are a waste of card board...however one of the things that has been hurting the hobby is lack of getting new faces...if a ten year old pulls a santa hat...they will probably think it is much cooler than any other race used piece...and maybe they will continue to buy the product...and grow into the next Nascard member...at least they are trying to do some new things ...and as for the four wides...I haven't gotten anything in stone...but I do believe they are going to do some variants for them...possibly swatches in place of just suits..maybe change the secondary pieces up...such as with Kasey Kahne...he has 2008 4 wides # to 8...
Nascar has few rookies to push..as opposed to the hundreds that other sports have...so when they have one that is supposed to be one of the best ever...they are going ot market him as hard as they can...overkill absolutely...but if you get a bunch of them...they could be great trade bait for the people that are jumping on the bandwagon...

the four wides will be different. yes there will be 150 of each driver but there will be 50 with oversized firesuit, 50 with oversized sheetmetal and 50 with oversized (something else i forget) so the value will still hold for each different run.

like kevin and chris said, jr and all other drivers are contracted for so many autos per year. so for you jr fans, would you like all sig series cards or chances of signings and stuff in legends?

also maybe logano will be good, maybe he won't, but you have to remember press pass is a business, and what better way to sell your product than use, what mark martin himself said, is the best young driver he has ever seen. if i were press pass i sure would market this kid til it stopped selling boxes.

and now you are going to get a raceused in every box. isn't this what we have been asking for? well now we have it and still people aren't happy. what else do we need, 10 pieces in a box so the cards are worhtless like the stick and ball sports.

come on people, let's look at the plusses with what press pass has done this year alone. tire imprints, colored tires, some wicked sweet four wides, tons of patches, awesom sheetmetal cards. i am extremely pleased with what press pass has done and is continuing to do.

the santa hats are something new, and i would love a sorenson one. are you telling me you would rather get nothing instead of pulling something? i think anyone here would be happy to pull a santa hat of their driver /50.

we need to be a little more supportive of the only company to support our habit. let's help them with some ideas, instead of demeaning them for what they do come up with.

wait til legends comes out. we have seen some info not many people have and it is going to be sweet.

so press pass is trying, and now we need to be happy they are.

Anyone know what the price will be per box??? Just trying to get an idea as I see some of the group breaks are starting to pop and the prices are about 20$ diff per box.
