My Review:
These are great little boxes for the price. Most people can generally can find them in the $79-$89 range. You get your Auto, 3 GU'd and a couple of inserts and some beautiful base cards. With only 10 packs per box, you don't feel like you are getting a whole lot but you have pretty good odds of pulling something in all of them if you are buying packs and if you get the box, you get all the stuff listed above in the official breakdown. One criticism is that this product could borrow from some of the other sets as it comes to their sticker autos. A lot of sets now design the card so that the sticker fits in and almost looks like it's on card, this set really shows that it is just a sticker on the card. I do love the oversize Rookie Game Used cards though. Always appreciate a die cut besides just the plain square too, very nice versions of those this year.
These cards are always some of the nicest looking cards produced each year, the finish is almost mirror-like. The cards themselves are are always on very shiny silver backing with great photos of the players each year. A nice base set for set collectors but probably tough to complete.
Final Ratings (out of 5):
Base Set – 4.5
Fun – 4
Overall Design – 5.0
Value – 4.5
Rebuy- 4
Total – 22/25 (90%)
Thanks to Donruss for sending us the box to review & to Enigma for sending it to me to review. :)
