Ummm, i'm not going to say he's going to be as good as Brett, but he does still have a lot of talent, he was just brought up wrong.

Akili reminds me too much of Ryan Leaf.....very hyped in college for one dynamic season.....he doesn't have the cry-baby attitude of Leaf, but unfortunately he played in a QB friendly system at Oregon much like Leaf at WSU...Though playing for the Bungles doesn't help, he's never had the tools to succeed in the NFL....

Just my opinion...I could be wrong...lol

Akili just didn't have enough help; but he also just isn't very good, either

hes out of cincy, this is his chance to do something. i doubt it happens, but you never know. maybe a change of scenery will help, but i doubt it.
