The screw down ones are better just in case you happen to drop the
card. If you use a magnet one the card could fall out and get damaged.

I use the magnet one for shipping since they are cheaper. But for my high end
card, nothing but the one screw holder. Also if you have any kids, the magnet
ones are way too easy for them to open and they will have so much fun with
your nice auto or patch card.

dont use the screw down on almost everything, screwdones are known for pressing to hard on cards (only use screw downs on maybe less thick cards, and if you know what your doing.) and if you got kids why would you let them touch your favoreite cards, store some where safe and sound. to the topic though i put all my cards i n magnet especiall like the newer bullet proff one to prevent them from sliding put scotch tape on the holer and sides (just a littl ethough)

Never had a screw down press on the card. Been using them for about 10 years.
Use the 130 pt. ones... Good luck..

you know your doing then but if i was someone like the guy who posted the thread I would stay away magnet is the safe and easy way but screw downs are hard but safe if done right but TERRIBLE if done wrong

I like magnetic ones, just because they are easier to use.
However, I use both, magnetic and screw.

Not true that screwdown holders press against the cards.
They do when you shove 180pt card into 130pt holder.
Just common sense.

You can also put the magnet cases in graded bags or larger team bags and that helps to keep the cases intact if you drop one (I accidently did and it was fine).

I'm not sure I follow your last statement. Bullet proof? Scotch tape? please explain.:confused0024:

yup, i generally magnet my big cards and use screw downs for my lesser hits. team bags all around for each of them.

people like them for the ease of use. I dont like them for several reasons
Cost-they do cost more then the screws downs
Storage-the screw downs fit better in the 1600 count boxes
IMO the crews downs protect much better, i dropped one at one point and the card popped out with a screw down doesnt do that. Otherwise, I think think use thwm because they are too lazy to put in a screw!

bullet proof are the holders that look the same just have a golden color snap up, the scotch tape is just in case its kind of a smaller card then you can use tape to keep the holder tighter together

np :) also team bags like stated above also help out a ton... an the made these tiny like slidable seals now then just tape the top to the back of the holder, these work really well for me

I use the pro-mold magnetic with UV protectant. They are the best. I also put them in a graded teambag. I still have some of my cards in single screw down cases and they are also a great case. I don't think you can go wrong with either of them, it is a matter of prefrence.

What size do I use for an exquisite auto/patch if I were to buy the pro mold magnetic holders?
