I never use a TE in this position but others in the league have done it in the past. I"m leaning towards Santonio Holmes because of his match up and really don't want to start Roy E. Williams because he just won't know the offense. Dunn gets yards and White gets TD's but Royal has potential for a huge game with yards and TD's.
Also my league scores 3 point bonus for 30+ yard TD's and 5 point bonus for 50+ yard TD's so Dunn could score big on one play and White doesn't really have a chance at any of those bonus points.
So here is who I am debating on playing in my flex position.
Holmes, Santonio WR PIT @CIN
Dunn, Warrick RB TB SEA
White, LenDale RB TEN @KC
Royal, Eddie WR DEN @NE
Williams, Roy E. WR DAL @STL
This is what the rest of my starters looks like.
Cutler, Jay QB DEN @NE
Barber, Marion RB DAL @STL
Slaton, Steve RB HOU DET
Burress, Plaxico WR NYG SF
Evans, Lee WR BUF SD
Miller, Heath TE PIT @CIN
Nedney, Joe K SF @NYG
Vikings DST @CHI

Personally, the way things are going right now, I would start Dunn. I'm starting him in one of my leagues to cover byes. He has a higher probability of double digit points. If LenDale gets a TD, he could get to 10-12, but most likely no more, plus he hasn't done so hot the past 2 games. Santonio, Royal, and Williams are questionable. It's possible each one could go for 15-20, but it's also very possible each one could go for 4-6. I think Dunn is the safest bet.

I have to agree with OPT...Dunn is the safer bet here. He's been getting the majority of the carries the past two weeks and has done surprisingly well and should net at least 10-15 points.
Williams should be on your bench because as you said, he just doesn't know the offense well enough yet and will have to try and get by on ability.
Holmes has an OK matchup but has been streaky at best and Cincinnati's pass defense isn't as bad everyone thinks it is. Look at how well they covered T.O. two weeks ago and they shut down the Jets passing attack this past weekend (Thomas Jones was the star that day, not Favre and not Coles or Cotchery).
Royal is coming off an injury and there's no telling how many plays he's going to get in.
White is another streaky player and CJ is going to take some goal line carries away from him eventually.

I haven't started Dunn all year but I might give him a try this week. If I do play him and he gets less points than Royal or Holmes I'm blaming you two posters. Just kidding. But I like the opinions from outside of my own head, thanks.

You can blame me...I'll be blaming myself too. No promises he'll do it, I just think he has a higher probability of putting up decent numbers than the other guys. I'm starting him for the first time this year too. Actually I just picked him up this week, so this is the first time I've even thought about playing him at all.

Check the status of the Tampa Bay fullbacks this week if you are going to play Dunn. The only reason Dunn had all the carries last week is that the fullbacks were hurt and Graham had to block. Usually they split pretty evenly. He may not be a bad play but you may also be dissapointed. In all honesty, the guys you have as a possibility for that spot may all get you around the same amount of points.

If you start Dunn and it doesn't work out, blame OPT, not me...he said so first . :)
(No worries - he's a fill-in in two of my leagues too, so I hope he does well for all of us!)

I have made the decision to start Dunn based on the two opinions here and the fact that it is a Sunday Night Game. Good luck to all and with my great match ups this week I should still do fine even if Dunn only gets me 3 points.
