View Full Version : I want to start up a team trader group
COWBOYS94 10-17-2008, 09:18 AM Ive been looking to join one and have been unsuccesful, so i have decided to see if anyone woul dbe interested in starting one up. Each member would pick their team once they have joined, once the team has been picked no one else can pick it. Once a month you will send out any and all cards you have pulled from the other teams people have picked. Base, rcs, inserts, are what is required..gameused, autos, it dont have to be sent but if you dont send them you will not get them in return i assure you.. So you basically mail off everything you get minus the cards youve pulled from your team, and from all other members in the group you will get all their pulls from your team. This is the best way to insure you get plenty of great cards from your team. If anyone is interested respong back to this post with yur choice in team. I will contact you to get yur info and will keep track of everything else. Need at least 6-10 people to make it worth while. Look below for list of people in the group and what teams have been chosen.

COWBOYS94 10-17-2008, 09:32 AM Really this idea is based on honesty. If you pull a 1/1 marino auto or something i doubt anyone would be sending it off. So i guess $50-100 in cards a month would be about right. But this will vary per month. I might pull a $50 card from yur team plus whatever i get this month and next month might not get any pulls and end up sending u base, rcs , and inserts.
Mooche 10-17-2008, 09:38 AM Well, I don't but that much usually, but like, if it is not based on that I would be in for sure.
The Colts. Please. :)
COWBOYS94 10-17-2008, 09:43 AM its really up to everyone. i just figured if i buy 5 boxes a month and u get 1 whos going to be getting more cards or have the better chances at hits. but we can leave it open just send out what u get. it doesnt bother me as i only collect cowboys so everything else goes in boxes or traded on here so mine as well give it to someone who lcollects that team.
COWBOYS94 10-17-2008, 09:55 AM if for some reason you dont have any cards to send to someone, being u didnt pull anything from there team or didnt get any new stuff this month just let everyone know that u arent sending to so that they dont send to u....and for game used and autos u dont have to send them....you can...but not required....however if you do send them you will probally get them back in return. so the only sure way to get gu or autos is to send them yurself. karma is very bad so if soemone send u a gu or auto try yur best to get one back to them. this is something everyone should enjoy and gain from. rememebr one bad apple spoils the rest so just be honest.
COWBOYS94 10-17-2008, 10:43 AM got a email and page made up for the group already now just need to get more people signing up to get it going. will keep on here until get more interest before i give out info.
COWBOYS94 10-17-2008, 12:55 PM bump..........
Trucker 10-17-2008, 10:53 PM There is already a Team Break Group on these boards, you should check them out, they are looking for new members I believe.
Kaiser 10-17-2008, 11:29 PM So there is no Min-Max of cards sent? What happens if you happen to pull lots of cards, and send out 20+ cards to each group member of their team. Then you only get 4-5 cards for your team? How would that type of thing be regulated? Also, what about members with a team who doesn't have a lot of cards in various sets, like the Jets?

COWBOYS94 10-18-2008, 03:44 AM looking to get a team bag full a month so some were around 20-50. now with base and inserts and rookies doesnt take but a box or so a month. and if a team doesnt do much as far as putting people in the packs id probally not pick them. if anyone doesnt pull cards from a certain team all they gotta do is let the person that has that team know before the beginning of the next month so they will not mail that person anything. so if u only have 5 cowboys cards and its last week of the month let me know so i wont send u the jets stuff i have for ya. then we see what happens the following month. this wil also vary from month to month depending on the pulls. one month u may just get rcs and inserts and such and maybe a few ok gameused the next u may get a bunch of game used and a few nice autos. as with everything in this hobby it depends on the pulls, and honest people.
COWBOYS94 10-18-2008, 03:45 AM the concept of this whole thing is very common. the tcg had been around forever. problem is the teami want is taken with them and couldnt find any other decent ones that have my team open so decided to try to start one myself

Always will be copy cats, but hey you know the saying imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
COWBOYS94 10-18-2008, 12:16 PM lol on the copy cats...cause tcg was the creator of team trades. dont think so. what else is someone suppose to do when their team is taken. look for another one unsuccesfully or start their own. thank you!!!!!!
