First drive the offense looked good. Defense continues to do nothing whatsoever. Gurode with another screw up. I know it's early, but I'm sick of the Olineman and defense.

View Full Version : Dallas Cowboys @ St. Louis Rams Thread #11 Roy Williams 10-19-2008, 02:29 PM First drive the offense looked good. Defense continues to do nothing whatsoever. Gurode with another screw up. I know it's early, but I'm sick of the Olineman and defense. garnett_21 10-19-2008, 02:30 PM Will the Cowboys be able to win without Romo? Will the Rams make it 2 straight wins? Tied 7-7 with 6 minutes left in first quarter. garnett_21 10-19-2008, 02:38 PM Rams scored a TD - 14-7 now. lukehoyt19 10-19-2008, 02:41 PM 21-7 who would have thought dfr52 10-19-2008, 02:42 PM At least it's still the 1st quarter, but this is not pretty. dfr52 10-19-2008, 02:44 PM A beating by the Rams! #11 Roy Williams 10-19-2008, 02:44 PM Fumble by Barber. 28-7. Put in Romo. Why the hell not? garnett_21 10-19-2008, 02:47 PM Holy buckets! I sure as heck didn't see this coming! 28 straight points by the Lambs...oops, I mean the Rams ;-) dfr52 10-19-2008, 02:50 PM Ugly! Do the Cowboys realize this isn't preseason. The Cowboys are being out played again by a team showing more heart and that challenge was a waste. Will Wade last the entire game?LOL The defense isn't hustling and I wonder if opponents have figure the Offense out. #11 Roy Williams 10-19-2008, 02:57 PM Bring Romo in the **** game. Brad Johnson is old and it shows. He just can't do anything. RenegadeLonghorn 10-19-2008, 03:01 PM Romo with a broken pinkie could play better than this old guy. RenegadeLonghorn 10-19-2008, 03:01 PM Darnit. Bradie James is injured. This season is spiraling downhill quickly. dfr52 10-19-2008, 03:04 PM I blame the offensive play calling not Johnson. cometmike 10-19-2008, 03:06 PM I blame defense dfr52 10-19-2008, 03:07 PM Why would Jenkins do that? Really? Who would be back their to pick-up the receiver after he dropped him? dfr52 10-19-2008, 03:08 PM I blame defense Oh yea, they currently have the most problems hector234 10-19-2008, 03:09 PM Why would Jenkins do that? Really? Who would be back their to pick-up the receiver after he dropped him? Rookie mistake, he went for the inside route instead of sticking with his man. Big break dfr52 10-19-2008, 03:12 PM I wish Jones could of taken that pitch w/ his speed. dfr52 10-19-2008, 03:13 PM Rookie mistake, he went for the inside route instead of sticking with his man. Big break I wonder what coverage was called that he would let his man go to jump that route. hector234 10-19-2008, 03:14 PM We might see Romo playing soon lol. Brad Johnson is just off RenegadeLonghorn 10-19-2008, 03:16 PM Brad Johnson thinks that his receivers are 8 feet tall. #11 Roy Williams 10-19-2008, 03:20 PM That was a bad call. That drive should've been at least 3 points. Where was the illegal formation on Witten? He definately wasn't leaning forward. Some of these calls are questionable coming from the refs and the Cowboys coacing staff. Why are you asking Brad Johnson to air it up. I'd much rather have Romo with no left hand then Brad Johnson. dfr52 10-19-2008, 03:20 PM How did they botch that punt? hector234 10-19-2008, 03:21 PM That was a bad call. That Witten penalty was terrible. He wasn't even leaning foward. That killed that drive dfr52 10-19-2008, 03:33 PM Maybe Romo is needed, I was hoping he could rest but that might not be the case. And w/ that near interception it's Romo time. hector234 10-19-2008, 03:34 PM Maybe Romo is needed, I was hoping he could rest but that might not be the case. Brad Johnson is off. He's overthrown, and underthrown some balls. I think Romo's asset is that he extends plays and gets away from pressure dfr52 10-19-2008, 03:36 PM Brad Johnson is off. He's overthrown, and underthrown some balls. I think Romo's asset is that he extends plays and gets away from pressure I honesty did not expect him to play as poorly as he has. Who would of thought 24-7 w/ the Rams leading. #11 Roy Williams 10-19-2008, 03:36 PM This is terrible. Defense looks like garbage starting the game. Had they not let us get in such a hole, this would be a feasible game going into half. They had gotten a little better, but not much. Brad Johnson just straight sucks. It shows that he hasn't been a starter since the stone ages. Bring in Romo. Why not? Very frustrating. hector234 10-19-2008, 03:39 PM Soem people might blame the Defense, but man, they have gotten no breaks. They've been on the field the majority of the time. RenegadeLonghorn 10-19-2008, 03:54 PM Defense stepped it up in the first series of the second half. Unfortunately, I have no faith in Brad Johnson to lead this team. Romo is our only hope...but he risks further injury by playing. dfr52 10-19-2008, 03:57 PM Ware is amazing! http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk197/dfr52/34d3_1-1.jpg dfr52 10-19-2008, 03:59 PM Defense stepped it up in the first series of the second half. Unfortunately, I have no faith in Brad Johnson to lead this team. Romo is our only hope...but he risks further injury by playing. I hope he finds his groove very early this half. hector234 10-19-2008, 03:59 PM Ware is amazing! http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk197/dfr52/34d3_1-1.jpg :love0030: The dude is a beast.:love0030: dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:05 PM Where is the discipline on this team. Again Wade is too soft. hector234 10-19-2008, 04:05 PM man, what a terrible time for a penalty. They easily had that 4th down. And now the "awesome" Nick Folk missed a FG RenegadeLonghorn 10-19-2008, 04:06 PM Perfect. 4th and 1. We get it. But there's a penalty. Now we kick the FG. Folk is very reliable...but misses it. A lot of bad karma on the field. dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:07 PM man, what a terrible time for a penalty. They easily had that 4th down. And now the "awesome" Nick Folk missed a FG He's been off the past two games. #11 Roy Williams 10-19-2008, 04:07 PM Just one thing after another. Hmmph, every play with the Cowboys you have to hold your breath. Even the simplest of plays since it's always something. WE NEED SOME EFFING DISCIPLINE ON THIS **** TEAM! If Cowher is brought in, I see a big turn around and maybe even a slight clean up after this season. dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:07 PM Perfect. 4th and 1. We get it. But there's a penalty. Now we kick the FG. Folk is very reliable...but misses it. A lot of bad karma on the field. Too much right now. hector234 10-19-2008, 04:08 PM [/b] He's been off the past two games. I know. Someone made a thread last week calling Nick Folk awsome, that's why I said it. Wow, Steven Jackson is a monster :love0030: RenegadeLonghorn 10-19-2008, 04:09 PM Nice TD run by Jackson. Still plenty of time left for the Cowboys...if they were led by a healthy Romo. dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:09 PM Would the coaching staff please inform the defense this is not flag football. Jackson is a good running back who will do that all day. hector234 10-19-2008, 04:10 PM Nice TD run by Jackson. Still plenty of time left for the Cowboys...if they were led by a healthy Romo. They've missed a lot of plays that could've been big for them. I think penalties, and the timing of them have killed the Cowboys today. dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:13 PM Cowboys need big plays, turnovers and to play error free. So far nothing. hector234 10-19-2008, 04:15 PM Cowboys need big plays, turnovers and to play error free. So far nothing. that o-line is awful. dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:15 PM They've missed a lot of plays that could've been big for them. I think penalties, and the timing of them have killed the Cowboys today. That's been the story in all their loses this season. dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:17 PM that o-line is awful. What is their problem. They can't block for anything today. RenegadeLonghorn 10-19-2008, 04:18 PM Sadly, this was the game I thought we could win without Romo. Bucs and Giants I wasn't so confident about. hector234 10-19-2008, 04:18 PM [/b] What is their problem. They can't block for anything today. Little is just rushing at will, and Brad Johnson is pretty much a sitting duck. hector234 10-19-2008, 04:19 PM Sadly, this was the game I thought we could win without Romo. Bucs and Giants I wasn't so confident about. I knew this game would be tough. You can tell from last week's game against the Redskins that this is a new Rams team. They are playing hard, and with more confidence with their coach. RenegadeLonghorn 10-19-2008, 04:19 PM Ware is a beast out there. I wish we had more players on D with heart. RenegadeLonghorn 10-19-2008, 04:20 PM I knew this game would be tough. You can tell from last week's game against the Redskins that this is a new Rams team. They are playing hard, and with more confidence with their coach. I knew it wasn't going to be easy after they defeated the Redskins on the road. But I was confident we would pull this one out. I didn't expect a blowout! dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:21 PM Sadly, this was the game I thought we could win without Romo. Bucs and Giants I wasn't so confident about. Me too. I thought the Cowboys would be up by 24. How can a team w/ so much individual talent play so poorly? hector234 10-19-2008, 04:21 PM Ware is a beast out there. I wish we had more players on D with heart. QFT. Ware has been the lone bright spot today. He's played hard on EVERY down. rchurchward 10-19-2008, 04:22 PM On Jackson's last run of that drive (the 12 yard rush), did anyone else see him when he ran into the Cowboys bench and patted Romo on the head, as if to say, "you sit there, little boy, I'll take care of this game." duwal 10-19-2008, 04:23 PM [/b] Me too. I thought the Cowboys would be up by 24. How can a team w/ so much individual talent play so poorly? easy no chemistry, no cohesiveness. Cowboys players play for themselves and not the star on their helmet. Jerry Jones just thinks getting a handful of stars in the same group will make them all gel like teammates dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:26 PM Noting beats 3yd. routes and interceptions. dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:29 PM And the game was pulled. I've never seen a Cowboys game pulled before due to the score. I wonder if there will be any fall out. hector234 10-19-2008, 04:36 PM Man, the Rams are moving the ball at will dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:39 PM Man, the Rams are moving the ball at will If the Cowboys can't protect the QB or stop an offense this could be a long season. A QB should not have to scramble every pass play due to the blocking. I can't wait to hear what the players and coaches have to say after the game. hector234 10-19-2008, 04:41 PM Another penalty Vincesanity 10-19-2008, 04:42 PM My thoughts about day I didn't start SJax on Fantasy, silly me My D Ware SPA BGS 9.5 may sell really good after day Crayton had a good punt return Thats it, all I got dfr52 10-19-2008, 04:45 PM My thoughts about day I didn't start SJax on Fantasy, silly me My D Ware SPA BGS 9.5 may sell really good after day Crayton had a good punt return Thats it, all I got LOL, those are the positives. Barber did have a few good runs but nothing like Jackson. RenegadeLonghorn 10-19-2008, 04:48 PM Another badly thrown ball by Brad Johnson. If that was out for TO to run to it we had a TD. Now i remember why I don't have Dallas players on my fantasy teams. Doh. BoogieDownBerlin 10-19-2008, 04:51 PM Another badly thrown ball by Brad Johnson. Everyone this year has wheeler281 10-19-2008, 05:12 PM I think the Cowboys will be just fine. No reason to push the panic button. Injuries are part of the game. They will be fine when Romo gets back or Johnson gets more time under center(1st week he took 1st team snaps in forever). It is quite common for the back up to be flat in his 1st game action in how long. Have to figure the all those turnovers and the offense not allowing the d to rest by staying on the field makes them a litte leary of jumping in front of Jackson. Talk to yas in week 12 and I would suspect you guys will be breathing a bit easier..Felix will be back then too. Remember....can't go 14-2 every year. 11-5 teams still win the Superbowl :) and other teams will be bit by injuries.. dfr52 10-19-2008, 05:18 PM Everyone this year has The last few weeks but not every team. dfr52 10-19-2008, 05:21 PM I think the Cowboys will be just fine. Things better change soon for sure. By the way I still want your cowboy cards if you have any. Drop me a line if you have stuff you want to trade.
