I can't wait for this saturday, some great fights. Here are my picks:

Anderson Silva Vs. Patrick Cote
This is my upset pick, I will take Patrick Cote. I know Silva is probably going to win, but I think Cote does have a punchers' chance

Josh Koscheck Vs. Thiago Alves
Thiago is a dangerous striker, but he didn't fair well against Jon Fitch, who is a training partner of Koscheck. I look for Koscheck to use his strength to take down Alves and pound out a victory

Rich Clementi Vs. Gray Maynard
Rich Clementi should win this, he's got a good wrestling background

Fabricio Werdum Vs. Junior Dos Santos
I'm going with Fabricio on this one, the guy is so dangerous on his feet, look at how he handled Vera and Gonzaga. I look for him to use his kicks and punches to throw off Santos

Sean Sherk Vs. Tyson Griffin
This is probably the fight i'm look foward to the most. I'm a huge Sherk fan, but I also like Griffin. i think Sherk is very relentless as far as going to the ground. If Tyson can stuff the shoots and keep it standing, he has a chance. It's a tough call on this one, but i'm going with Sherk, it could go either way though.

Thales Leites Vs. Drew McFedries
McFedries win this one

Spencer Fisher Vs. Shannon Gugerty
Spencer Fisher has good striking, he should win this one

Dan Miller Vs. Matt Horwich
Going with Dan Miller on this one

Hermes Franca Vs. Marcus Aurelio
This is a VERY interesting fight that matches teacher (Aurelio) vs Student (Franca). I think Hermes wins this one, he has good striking and if he can keep it standing and not get caught in a mistake, he should win

Josh Burkman Vs. Pete Sell
This might be one of the most exciting fights. These guys will stand and look for the knockout. It's a tough call on this figt, I think Pete Sell has enough to get the win, but I wouldn't count Burkman out on this one. I'm going to say Pete Sell wins this.

:sign0020:That's my upset pick. I know Silva is going to win, but i'm thinking Cote can upset. I picked Evans over Liddel when all my friends thought I was crazy.

I'm a HUGE Josh Coscheck fan. I cant wait for that fight and there are plenty of good fights on that card as well.

I was hoping Bisping would get his butt kicked the other night but it will eventually happen sooner than later.

It's Koscheck bro :heh: I don't know why a lot of people dislike him :confused0024: I think his fight with Alves will be a good one. I hope he pulls it out.

Here are my picks:

Anderson Silva Vs. Patrick Cote
Of course the money is on silva, but everyone not named Fedor loses sometime. I think Silva will win (round 2: sub) but cote might get a good shot in and get the ko.

Josh Koscheck Vs. Thiago Alves
Should be a good fight. I am not a fan of Koscheck but I think he takes this one by unanimous decision.

Rich Clementi Vs. Gray Maynard
Should be a good fight for anyone that understands ground game. I take Maynard by sub in the 2nd.

Fabricio Werdum Vs. Junior Dos Santos
Should be a decent fight. I actually have werdum by ko in the first.

Sean Sherk Vs. Tyson Griffin
Great fight. I think if sherk keeps to what he knows he can win by decision, 29-28. I think griffin stuffs him in round 1 but can't in the last 2.

Thales Leites Vs. Drew McFedries
Leites by tko, round 2

Spencer Fisher Vs. Shannon Gugerty
Spencer Fisher has good striking, he should win this one

Dan Miller Vs. Matt Horwich
toss up on this one

Hermes Franca Vs. Marcus Aurelio
Franca by decision

Josh Burkman Vs. Pete Sell
I think this will be fight of the night. Someone is going to get KO'd. I like burkman but I am going with sell in round 2

haha my bad. I didnt realize i spelled it with a C. Thanks for clearing it up though. It will def be a great fight. He needs the win so he can get closer to this title shot. Alot of people dont like his attitude or i guess how he comes off but in the UFC u gotta be tough. I like that alot people dont like him. It makes his wins that much more enjoyable.

You're right, it's the undercard to the Big Nog vs Mir fight. I don't think Evans will win, Forrest is too smart and will come up with a good gameplan.

Lol, that's your opinion, I have to root for the local boy. I'm hoping for a knock out.

Not sure about that. Don't get me wrong, I like Evans since TUF 2 because he was always the underdog. But Forrest has elevated his game to a whole new level. Look at the people he's beaten in his last 2 fights. I do hope Evans wins, because i know A LOT of people that dislike him, but I think he can be a good champ.

I have never liked Evans but I am coming around. Up until the liddell fight, he always seemed to be a guy who wanted the decision. I know he had a knock-out before but even that fight he wasn't really aggressive. He was on the winning end of one too many split decisions for me. Seemed to get lucky a few too many times.
Anyway, as for the fight, I think griffin will have too good of a game plan.

Thats my take on it, Griffin will come in with a great game plan. I don't think Evans would go for the decision in previous fights, his only problem was that he was too 1 dimensional. He didn't really have a strong stand up game, he was more about using his wrestling and trying to control his opponent and pound them out. He was really improved a lot since the Bisping fight. I do think that Evans could cut down to 185, what do you guys think? He looks a bit small for 205 lbs

yeah. he and bisping are really similar. I think his cut might be a little more than bisping but he could do it. Won't happen as long as he is winning though.

True, but I think if he doesn't beat Forrest, it could happen. He'll be a lot faster, and a lot stronger for that division. But then again, Dan Henderson is the same way, he could fight either way.
