This MMA forum is one of the least active forums on SCF. I realize that the trading cards for MMA aren't out yet, but still where are all the discussions?

With Topps coming out with some UFC Cards, we will want everyone to come to SCF for their MMA trading, so now is the time to make this area of SCF active.

Funny you post this because I just responded to a thread thinking the same thing - I was more active here when the forum started, but lately I haven't posted much at all. My family has cut down on buying the pay-per-view stuff lately since the UFCs now cost $45 per..we want to just wait until they come out on DVD, unless we really, really like the card. The last UFC we ordered had the Rampage Jackson and Forrest Griffin fight. We did catch the free airing of UFC 89 on Spike TV, though.

Yes the price of PPVs are over the top, as i said above topps is coming out with UFC trading cards. We need to be the leader in MMA trading.

That starts by making this place active NOW!

I wish that Upper Deck would have been more forthcoming with info on there MMA set, still don't know who cards #59 & #60 will be, there is no sell sheet, and I didn't find out the release was being delayed until the day AFTER it was supposed to be released! Here I am waiting for my cards wondering why they weren't shipped....

And I wonder if the Topps set will be a standalone set, I hope so!

I think once the 1st set comes out that this forum will be very active, but as of now the companies haven't given us anything to sink our teeth into.

I do pay-per-views the only way I can...lots of friends, $10 a piece, host provides the TV and the food! Just moved a few months ago and I think I just found a guy at church that is a big fan so I think we are going to go in on the November 15th ppv together. First one for me since the penn/sherk ppv in the spring.

I love mma and would love if this forum got a little more action. There are a ton of things going on that we can talk about and discuss.

We usually hit a place like Buffalo Wild Wings for PPV's. Otherwise I do the same as ensbergcollector, get some friends and have them chip in and watch it in HD at my place. And since my brother in law is one of the biggest fans, my wife usually can't say no. :party0053: This weekend we are hitting the Buffalo Wild Wings.

There's not alot of action because of the Upperdeck Delay, had the set been out on release date there would be alot of posts here, all be it most would be people offering up other sports garbage trying to get what is becomming MMA gold.

Donruss Americana Ring Kings have leveled off, so this board will be slow until the UD Set releases.

Not to mention UFC 89 & UFC 90 (Outside of Silva/Cote) are pretty smalltime cards, however I personally am looking forward to Griffin/Sherk as I am a friend of Tyson and I cannot stand Steroid Sherk.

I am sure I will be posting more come UFC 91 & UFC 92 times as I've got my tickets to both and will be there, oh I love Las Vegas!
