Mike Singletary takes over as HC, and is in contract talk right now. Sounds like he will be the long term HC, not just an interm.

He should pound it and pound it with Frank Gore. He's old school, so they may finally go to utilizing their best player.

The guys on Countdown were very supportive of Nolan and negative on the team's treatment of him.

Thats because Nolan is an awsome guy. Unfortunatley, not a good head coach. Ive met Nolan on a few occasions and he will pretty much talk to anyone about anything. But when you are not getting the job done, its time to go.

I was listening to the radio station here in the bay area, and they said it happened tonight because it got leaked out to ESPN

i hope O'sullivan gets benched. shaun hill played decently last year, and i think he should get another chance

Also, with nolan gone, that means alex smith will definately be gone by next season...
