George from beckett spent $11,500 on a single card. I also know Jdworley has spent a ton on single cards but not sure what his highest was. The most I spent was around $750, was for the Vernon Davis SPA logo. I got rid of it within that year to buy some Jerry Rices.

I spent 1500 for the card in my avatar. 2k for heavyhitters bgs 9.5 sp gold that I traded him :sign0020: and 1100 I think for my ultimate 1/1 holmes auto logo rookie and certified black 1/1 dual auto logos combined. 1200 for the lynch sp 1/1 logo that I lost 150 on when I decided me collecting lynch was not fun. YIKES!

Mack the winner of that card is wordmousexpert' brother in law. It will be available when his wife gets a whiff of it.. He does not have a seller account so wordmouse sells them for him when the guy needs money. That helmet logo piece is sick in that one! Worth the 200 dollar bump IMO

I remember when I first heard of Exquisite and wondered what kind of lunatic would drop that kind of money for cardboard. Then I got back into the hobby myself and became one and find myself spending money I never knew I would.

the card in my sig I spent 450 on and got it graded the day it came in :) and thats about 200 bucks more than I have ever spent on a card....... but in total I have spent about 1600 on my stanton collection

Yeah if I knew that card would be available, I would've waited for it....I've seen them all 5 on E-bay at least once and thats the nicest one I think. Its the one pictured in the Winter '04-'05 issue of Beckett Football Plus in the article "Best of Big Ben". I am quite happy just to own one of them though. :sign0020:

long story short when i was 15 i won an all inclusive trip to that pro bowl stayed in a sweet hotel with tons of players and the first football card i bought was a Peyton pro bowl jersey from that game. he was also the mvp of the game, so i just had to have it.
