at best it's a setback. i don't think it's necessarily 'career-threatening'. either way, brady relies a lot on his mobility, so i wouldn't be surprised if he's much less effective when he gets back.

This injury is just a big set back, it's not career ending. It's similar to what happened to Carson Palmer a few years back

If the tendon is compromised they will get a donor and start over

I think I heard last night that the main doctor has said that the antibiotics are doing their job and the infection will soon be gone. Don't quote me on this as I was half asleep when I heard it haha.
