It's a violation of league rules, he will be suspended. Goodell is cracking down on players a lot because he doesn't want the NFL to be in the news for bad things.

Holmes gets coverage like TO and is second in 1st in YPC since 2006 and 2nd this year at almost 17 a clip.. Steelers are not a type of offense that he will put up huge numbers. Oh yeah he is 24!! He is doubled which has revitalized Hines Ward and made Nate Washington much better He just does not whine about it like T.O. He is a straight up #1. In a pass happy offense like Cowboys he would have killer numbers.

Not too crazy about Arions either. This should be an interesting game Sunday....Nate Washington starting and Sweed as the 3rd wide-out. Sure could use Willie but it doesnt sound too hopeful. Also the possibility of Aaron Smith missing the game has me a bit worried.

He's not dropping the passes though. Its the double coverage and sometimes even three defensive players around him. A lot of poor throws too.

Holmes draws more double coverage because hes the Steelers most dangerous receiver. He has the ability to catch a short pass and take it to the house. Ward hasnt got the speed to do that...unless he breaks some tackles. However with Holmes drawing the coverage he has been freeing up the other guys. Stats can be mis-leading in football....Holmes does what hes supposed to do in the Steelers offense.

As compared to what or who. For the team he has been awesome playing 2 positions. They also played in a tornado with 60mph. which nobody caught anything...I could care how many TD's he catches. I want wins! I know him being a threat has opend up Hines and the running game. Hine has 5 TD's. Can't force it to him if you are Roethlsiberger. I guess he is a letdown if you measure in ways of TD's? Good for fantasy I guess but not so god in a team game if others are cashing in..
He has been everything I expected and being 24 I think he has a little time to grow :) He has been solid on special teams(how many #1 WR return punts) as well and his YPC avg is still great. They run 1st pass second as Mewelde had 3 td's last week. If you think the scheme does not make a difference then I can't change your mind. BTW which is ok lol...BTW his 3 catches(20.3YPC) and only breaking tackle TD in the Ravens game won it. Without him there they lose.

I think the O-line did pretty well considering the level of competition they were up against....Ben had time to throw most plays up until late 4th qtr. The series of plays where they got 2 1st downs and a TD all wiped out by penalties was the turning point of the game I thought. Steelers can take some positives from this. Congrats to the Giants but should these 2 teams meet again in early February the outcome may be different.
