Cote signals his joy to be in the third round. Silva throws a jab that misses, and Cote quickly collapses to the floor. Cote tries to bounce back to his feet, but this fight will end with an unfortunate freak injury to Cote's knee.

Anderson Silva def. Patrick Cote via TKO (injury) -- Round 3, 0:39.

Wow what an end to a hyped fight.

Silva was clearly winning, Cote was cut, Cote was the 1st man to take it to 3 rounds with Silva

Silva/Cote wasn't a bad fight. Cote was cut early but you could tell Silva was going to pick him apart. He's just that **** good. Poor Cote going out with a knee injury.

I give Cote all the credit in the world for not stepping down. The dude was fearless and took Silva's best shots. He got kicked and took a big knee in the 1st round and stuck in there. I honestly think Cote would've gone the distance

some very good matches but over all i was disapointed in all the decisions, i like to see someone get the bloody pulp kicked out of them, i hate going to decision.

Overall some good fights. It was a let down for the Silva vs. Cote to end the way it did. Just a good night to eat wings and hang out with some friends.

Yeah, i saw that yesterday. Sherk vs Griffin was easily fight of the night. That was the fight I was looking most foward to. All my friends thought it was going to be boring, but it was a great fight. I can't wait for WEC on Nov. 5th

Well, it was boring to an extent. If it were just a straight up grappling match, it was good because they were both fighting for position and the transitions were great. But as far as it being a fight, it wasn't the most entertaining. Clementi just couldn't gain any control. Easily the best fight was Sherk vs Griffin. And how's about Alves destroying Koscheck? He picked Josh apart, when I thought Koscheck would win the fight.

The only boring fight was the Maynard vs Clementi fight. Sherk vs Griffin was full of action. Koscheck vs Alves had actions aswell, even though it was Alves just going off on Koscheck. Wedum vs Dos Santos, umm...........TKO.
