Mariners - Pretty much the same as last year.. 2 Schedules, a sheet of 10 different stickers (2 being of Martinez and Olerud), and a sheet of 6 perferrated (sp?) over sized cards by Trendwest.. Ichiro, Bret Boone, Randy Winn, Joel Pineiro, The Moose mascot, and Safeco Field.

I just got my mail, and got something from the Mariners, which is the same thing as NYY1 got...And also something from the Dodger's!
In the Dodger's I got 2 cards of Roberts, and Nomo, sticker's, and schedule information, along with ticket stuff!!

how do you get them? do you email the team? how do you get the email?

What you do is go to the site, scroll all the way down to the bottom, click on contact us/questions/comments/ whatever---Then just pick Public Relations/ Other/ Or something like that!!

Orioles - 2 schedules, a sheet of stickers with 3 logos and the bird, 2 photo post cards of Miguel Tejada and Javy Lopez both in O's uniform, and a large photo of the mascot.

Not a bad one, I'm surprised I got the photo cards of two new players in current uniform.. Usually they don't have them available this early.

I received the same thing from the Orioles today.

I also received a pack from the Astros containing 2 stickers, a pocket schedule, a brochure with info about Minute Maid Park, & (2) 3 1/2"x 5 1/2" photos (1) Octavio Dotel & (1) Craig Biggio.

I got an e-mail response from the Devil Rays saying they only do mail requests now due to a volume of e-mail requests. Does it not seem like the Mariners would have a whole lot more requests than the D-Rays? Oh well. At least I got a good one last year.

Molina, all you have to do is write a letter asking the D-Rays. You don't need a SASE. For whatevere reason the email asking isn't good enough.

Just go to the teams' websites and most of them have a 'contact us' or a 'feedback' link somewhere. Just send them and email requesting one and give them your mailing info. Most teams will send you something or atleast email you back and tell you that they dont have or dont send fan packs.

The Padres sent me another one today but instead of the clock they gave me a 2003 collector's edition Porcelin Randy Jones bobble head. They're a very very generous team. They spelled my last name wrong.. so I'm assuming that's why they sent me two.

Wow, what a generous offering by the 3rd or 4th highest valued baseball team. I guess that why they're worth so much, they give nothing back to the people that bring in their billions. It's pretty sad that some of the lowest market value teams beat the crap out of the Dodgers for fan packs. I understand they might get more requests than the Pirates or Brewers but come on...........

I have searched a few teams websites and haven't found any email addresses to contact the team. Pretty much all the teams websites have the same layout and I can't find any email address. Am I searching in the wrong section of the site? PLMK if you have any help to offer.

You need to find the "contact us" link. Then most teams have a form that you fill out & type your request in the field provided.

I got the same thing today, minus the Prior card, My reprint is a '58 Ernie Banks with a BV of $5-12! I was surprised that they would send something like that, all the others I've gotten cards from just gave me random 10 cent base cards.

That's the same Ernie Banks I got. I just listed it the way it's listed on Beckett.com & it is $12.

Usually during the season............


But seriously, I've sent at the beginning of the season & sometimes saw better fan packs sent later in the season. I guess it just depends if the team has their items yet or if they don't get them until later. I have received fan packs months after sending the requests.

Not bad but what is amazing is that in my request, I asked that it be mailed to my 5 year old son. I put his name in the address listing. They addressed it to me which they had to have gotten the name from the email address and substituted it into the mailing address.

Go to the team's website and look for the "CONTACT US" link....email them requesting a Fan Pack - Some give them out - some dont. I think its fun trying to find out who gives the best Fan Packs more than some of the stuff they send.....

Can you only get fan packs from like a Teams in your own state? Or do teams have a quota because all I got so far was the Red Sox, but I live in Michigan. I sent out to a bunch of other teams I have heard of success with and not gotten any of them and it's been over two months.

I might send out the requests again. Some requests get lost in the shuffle. Also, it might be a little hectic since the season just ended.

The Yankees & Twins have done it that way since I've been doing fan packs here on the site.

Cleveland Indians sent... nothing. Got a letter saying I would get a pocket schedule/ All I got was a typed letter and a word search.

So if you sent them an email yesterday you won't get an e-mail saying they sent it, but you'll likely received it Monday or Tuesday of next week depending how far away you live from LA. I live in VA and it took until Friday, so it should get to your place fast.

The Dodgers must send a different fan pack out to fans outside SoCal. I'm certainly not complaining, they sent me a NICE fan pack..just an observation(didn't get the cap, lunchbox, trading cards other folks are reporting).I think the Dodgers probably send a different fan pack to everybody. Some of the items (Dodger calendars, lunch coolers, rally towels) are leftovers from stadium giveaways. I figure that when they run out of something, they send out some other items. I suspect that some items are also items that have been discontinued from the Dodgers' stadium souvenir store.

Today: Memphis Redbirds (AAA team of St. Louis Cardinals) in 11 days. Probably one of the best fan packs I have received. They sent me a sketchbook that had "A Century of Memphis Ballparks" on the cover, a team comic book, a magnetic schedule, a team wristband, and a personalized message on the back of a postcard from the promotions assistant. He also included his business card. Very nice of him to take his time to put together a great fan pack for me.
