Michael Cuddyer (twins) leading HR in Spring Training with 6 is he the real deal?

If he keeps it up and carries over to the season he might break the record.

A guy from a beer drinking softball league could hit HR's off of pitchers right now. They're not going full speed yet, and not using their best stuff so it's hard to tell. For the Twins sake I hope he is though.

I am telling you Twin/Cubs WS I said it first, right here.

Right now, the pitching is just a shady above being pitched batting practice, but 6 ding-dongs already is impressive. But also when you don't have to worry about the pitchers best stuff, you can swing for the fences every at bat to try to impess people.

yeah you got a point, but the kid has some power. is he still a rookie, do you know?

How old is he? I thought Toby Hall for the D-Rays was really a rookie untill I saw that he's 27... that's no rookie in my book.

I agree that pitching is shady during the Spring, but I've been hearing about Cuddyer for a while now and there is a good chance he is the real deal. Always hard to say at this point though.

I've heard Mike Cuddyer was a prospect last year with some power, he probably is but I don't think Spring Training is a good indication of his development.

Hey, Spring Training is not over. Let's see about HRs once it's over and when the real games start.

there is no way he will hit like this during the season, but he should help out in the Twins lineup a bunch. I would have to say possibly 20+HR's and 80+RBI. If he wins the RF job.

I think that he's going to be a very good quality starter but i dont think that he's the next great homer hitter. But you never know it too early to tell

i agree with the shady pitching in the preseason but 6 bangs is impressive but i just want to see how this guy does when the real season starts
