With 56 variations in this set, it is nearly impossible to complete your player collection unless you are extremely diligent (and lucky). I am still looking for several Frank Thomas cards and Bo Jackson cards to complete my sets. Along the way, I have purchased more than 200 cards of other players to use as trade cards if anyone can help me out. I'm particularly interested in the low numbered cards (#/20 or less) of these 2 players, but would possibly trade to get a spare Bo in any number. If you have any Bo or Frank cards from this set, please let me know what you have and what player(s) you are looking for in return. Thanks. For those who aren't aware of the variations, here they are:

Another thought concerning this set for your favorite player. If you don't have the money, or inclination, to try and collect all 56 variations, you could do what some coin collectors do. Try to put together a "Type Set". To do this, you would only need 8 cards, and you could buy the highest serial numbered cards (cheapest you could find) of each kind. The set would consist of these 8 cards (once again, no care given to the variations on the backs):

Red (pinkish border), Color (portrait)
Red, Black & White
Blue, Color
Blue, Black & White
Sepia (tan border), Color
Sepia, Black & White
White (gray border), Color
White, Black & White

Let me know which player you collect, and if you have any Bo or Frank Thomas cards to trade. Otherwise, if you're interested in buying, maybe I can still help.

I may need the Rivera, though I do not have any Thomas or Jacksons. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Did you check to see if you need that Rivera card? If so, do you have any other cards from this set, or other comparable serial numbered cards to trade for it?

With the Color (Studio) or Black & White (DK) Portrait? I'll help you find it.
