Since I recently posted my base card exchange thread for Sabres, I have had a couple members PM me with interest in doing the same. This thread is for you all.

I have a couple simple rules to the thread (and this can be updated as needed).

1) Post what you are looking for and the numbers that you are looking to trade in a swap (ie: 20 of your team for 20 of my team or 20 of one player for 15 of another, etc). Your call on what you are willing to trade

2) This is an open thread, so there is no such thing as a thread hijack.

With that said, please feel free to post your wants and what you have available in base.

1) The sticky helps as it is always on the top of the page. So even if you miss it one time, it does not fall 4, 5, 6 pages over a 24-48 hour period.

2) As for people burning them, I agree find a place to donate your cards to. Heck, it might be enough for a tax deductable gift.

I am going to be sorting and building out 20 base cards to a team bag during the Sabres and the Leafs tonight. I will post what I have once completed (maybe tonight).

Reason for 20 is that it is easier to bag and ship.

Just a quick update on my end in terms of base.

I just 'found' even more base that I forgot that I had. So, I can do at least a 100 card lot for ANY NHL TEAM! Please let me know what you need, all I am looking for in return is an equal count of 100 Penguins base cards in return. Quick and easy trade(s)!

Also, if you are a Jets, Nordiques, Whalers, or North Stars fan ... I can do 100 count lots on those as well. I may even be able to pull a team Canada or team USA lot. So, please let me know what you are looking for and I'll pull a lot for you.

Please know that these lots are about as random as it gets. Basically, I am pulling team lots and placing them into team bags of 25 each. The cards that I have will be anywhere from the late 80's to some of the 2008-09 products. Each lot will be basically a random whatever. As I can sort them and get them into team bags is how the run will go.

I'm sorting my base and putting together base team lots of 25 cards with no duplicates.

- I have NOT pulled any of the stars out so guys like Crosby, Nash, Ovechkin etc.. WILL be mixed into the base collections. I would hope, in return, you wouldn't do the same.
- The only cards I have removed are all Goalies (which I will trade seperately).
- I will NOT be sorting through the teams to pick out certain players for anyone so please don't ask.
- 95% of the cards are 2005-06 and newer. There is the odd card from earlier years (but nothing from the early 90's).


I'm only looking for Wings cards in return. Anything from 1994 on is acceptable.

not really, my girlfriend wanted paul kariya before which is probly what you remember but then we decided against trading for a bunch of his base since hes not really one of her top priority guys.
