Yesterday I went to one my local store. I know the owner and trust him. He showed me a frame with image of Price/Roy/Dryden and a piece of game used stick like 2 inches long each. I am not sure he can get one more from this one, really depend as that item was already sold. I ask him to get me one for Price since he alerady had 2 coming in. The triple, I think all the three stick were all done but said it was possible he get more stick to do more.

He showed me the image of each stick in one piece and then cut in big parts. I trust this is real with right COA tha come with it.

Price is 55$ CAD and the triple 135$ CAD if he can get them. I think the price are really good and they are all framed behind glass.

What do you think of the price?

As for authentic I do beleive they are and the owner is a trustable person from all I know. COA seem authentic.

EDIT:
After some search on ebay, it coming from these stick. What I saw was exactly this, same frame image COA and this vendor say he his from Montreal.

The Price one is this one, I did not see it but what he explained his exaclty this one:

Buying them from this ebay seller would cost me in CAD 178$ for the triple and 66$ for the Price. So I guess he buy them from him and get a rebate since he his a store seller.

That triple is gorgeous, looks awesome in that black frame. Those prices you are talking sound very reasonable for what you're getting, and it sounds like a legitimate product to me. I say go for it!

Luc,
He a pc guy so why not as it always nice to have something beside cards to share on the wall to add to your collection. Framing alone can be pretty expensive when they look nice so prices sound good as the others attested.

Let me ask you this. What would you pay for a PRICE stick broken and intact in full? Just wondering?

Those looks great. That's why it pays to get in great with your local dealers. E-Bay and all are nice, but getting to know (and support) your brick-and-mortar dealers can definitely pay off in the long run.

For a five dollars difference I will get it at my store. At least I know the price is right.

Thanks for all your info.

So true...years ago, there used to be a great shop near my old job, I would pend my lunch there a couple days a week ripping packs, trading etc. He had a Mark Messier RC in the cabinet I would always look at..and he'd ask me every time I was in there "when the hell are you gonna buy that thing ?" It had 4 sharp corners and the centering was 80/20 but one of the corners the white was missing but for me it would be a PC item so that didn't matter and there was no ebay and the Internet was still at a crawl with a 1200 baud modem ! well, one day I pulled into the parking lot and he had a going out of business sign in the window..needless to say I was thoroughly bummed, it was a great shop..so I talked with him for a bit, bought a pack 88-89 Topps and a few of the brand newly release Pro Set and Score and tore my last packs in the store...Pull a Brett Hull RC from the Topps..one last great pull to close my favorite shop with...I still have that very card: (Top Left)

Well, I said my goodbyes and wished him Luck and headed for my pickup..as I went to unlock my truck, he was coming out the door yelling my name, so I walk back over and he hands me the Messier RC..says to me, You take it, you've been loyal to me, have a true love of cards and he'd rather it go to someone who'd appreciate it then to a wholesaler.
Still have that one too..like I said it's not perfect, but it's mine and while I may one day buy another, this one means a lot to me.

Support your Local Card Shop ! (if you have one). Unfortunately, the three shops that used to be around me are all gone, the only store left is a Hobby store, and he does carry Hockey packs and boxes, but is way too expensive to use like the good old days...thanx for stirring the memories Luc and Duff...it's remembering those things that make me happy to be here on this board.

Actually the first piece of memorablilia I got this summer was from one of his vendor there at the store. He ask me if I saw the Tretiak piece of glove, a card made out of 20 but no numbering on the card. It's a 20 cards set that have only 20 sets in circulation. Beckett say about this set: STATED PRINT RUN 20 SETS.

Having different source make things happen. they are one of those source a collector need to keep when they are around. And you get to touch what you buy :cheer2:

Anyway for reference here is the card, I love the way you see the stiching behind the cover of the card.
