If I were Bud Selig, I'd fire myself, and see that baseball has a competent commissioner, for the good of baseball!

I mean, we got a tie in the All-star game, and it occurred in his OWN stadium of Milwaukee!!

Selig wanted to contract Minnesota, Florida, and even Anaheim -- all 3 teams winning World Series titles recently.

I would make it mandatory for players to give more public appearences (children's hospitals...etc), and definatly make a salary cap. I would make Shoeless Joe a HOF inductee, as well as Pete Rose. Last, I would put out every player into one draft to make fair teams of play. No one wants to see the Yanks against the Tigers. It'll be like 19-0 at the end of the first.

if Pete Rose is reinstated, then Shoeless Joe should definitely be reinstated

I'd love to see just how many voters will elect Rose once he's eligible for the Hall

well if i was Bud Selig right now i would dissaprove of the AROD for Soriano trade! It would rotten the game of baseball just look at the Yanks lineup w/ AROD!

If I were the commish of baseball I would do the following:

1. Make a Salery cap. No more than $750,000 a year. (If you can't live on that. Then get a job)
2. Have manditory drug testing
a. Right when you report to spring training.
b. Right before the season starts.
c. At the All-Star break.
d. At the end of the season.
3. If you fail the drug testing, then you are out of baseball, period.
4. Have a luxery tax. This way it will be fair for all the teams.
5. Elect Shoeless Joe into the HOF. Also Reinstate Pete so he too can be elected into the HOF.
