Hey All!
I'm super pumped to get some Brewers TTMs this season.
Please give me some understanding on why it is or is not successful to send TTM to MLB Spring Trainings.
Also, around when should the MLB Spring Training TTMs be mailed?
Any comments will be GREAT! Thx

Hey. Last season I had a success with Hideki Okajima during ST and have heard tons of other ppl getting a lot of success'. Players are more relaxed and have more free time during ST so that relates to more TTM success also. I'd mail them a day or two before ST starts or anytime during is also fine. GL!

Usually ST is a good time to send for the reasons mentioned above. The earlier you send the better your chances of getting stuff back. All the complexes are listed in the baseball section. Don't forget that a lot of players are going to be playing in the WBC which starts on the 5th of March I believe. So a lot of stars you either send early early or don't bother sending to this year. Good luck.

Valentines Day is when I mail out my bundle of ST TTMs. I also look for those quick results in the success thread and drop another batch around March 1st! You can also do good with former players in ST! I have gotten guys like Nettles, Grace and even Tony Perez during ST! Keep an eye out for instructional guys and drop them in the mail also!

This is the type of info I was looking for, Thanks.
When you say, "I also look for those quick results in the success thread," is that you look for who is signing at the start of ST and the Season and then TTM them?

Correct! The best way to find out who is signing is to see who others have gotten back. Yes, someguys will stop and some will onlysign a few times, but for the most part if they sign they will be more likely to continue to do so. I usually drop around 100 envelopes in Feb and another 20 in March. The guys I mail to in March are the guys that I want, but did not mail to in Feb who have been doing TTM. Posting your successes in the success threads helps others know who is autographing and is a great way for us all to help each other with our collections. We also leave it build up over time and you can even cut all the way back to last ST and see who was signing back then! I had a weak mailing last ST. I think it was about 60 total! Hopefully this year will be a little more tame around work, so I can get more sent! Best of luck and please be sure to post your successes!

I know from experience (albeit IP) that the brewers are very good at signing. I got weeks, hart, hall, kendall, and the holy grail for me was a Prince Fielder on a black rawlings bat. I had my 6 mo. twins with me and he made a personal trip over to see me after I had been there 4 days in a row at practice. (I lived about 10 mins away)
I plan on getting all my info together on former players (now coaches) and cards, photos and whatnot together NOW. Then I can sit down and write a crapload of letters to the players and cross my fingers.
I have not really tried many of the big names TTM. Like a Ryan Howard, Manny ramirez, etc. They prob get sooo much mail and egos that are as big as can be. I would shoot for the 2nd tier players like a Shane Victorino, Raul Ibanez, and Rookies. If you are just getting into this, you want to get a few successes under your belt, then go for the big one. I just like doing a bit of research on a player, put it in my letter so I dont suond like an idiot, and hope that he likes my letter. If so, I should get a response with a nice card to add to my collection.
So, get your info together now, get your cards together now, and start writing those letters,
Good Luck to all who read this

Rangers are another great ST TTM signers. Someone from another site was 16 out of 20 on ST TTMs to the Rangers in 2008. Thats 80% success rate!

Nice info fellas! I won't have any problem getting my data together... I'm really only into Brewers TTM (and Josh Hamilton... it's a Christian thing! LOL)... but as I get a few successes I'm sure I'll expand my interests!
I'm not very optimistic when it comes to mailings... I just don't get how they get their mail and I can't envision when/where they decide to sign TTM... some successes will do me good.
It's just how I'm geared so I'm glad there has been a bunch of info supplied here! This is awesome!

You can send a email to the breweres during season, and they will send a fanpack
