Hey Eveyone,
I was lucky enough to find a Nolan Ryan Tristar Hidden Treasures Redemption card for a Nolan Ryan autographed MLB Ball on the Sweet Spot. It has been redeemed and has Tristar COA. PLMK if you are intersted. I might sell but mainly looking to trade for Pujols. PLMK.
Thanks,
Kyle

not really interested, i just wanted to give a heads up as to it's value. you can pick up a ryan signed mlb ball from his foundation for $50. seeing as how it is a redemption, i wouldn't think that it would be worth much more than that.

I'm sure its worth more than that. I might be wrong. Thanks for your input though.

Thanks,
Kyle

Here how I see it its almost like pulling a Nolan Ryan ball from 01 Topps Arhcives or something and those would book more than $65.

He's right...if you can BUY one at $65, that'd be like the "eBay price," and not necessarily the book value, since they're never the same number. I see what he's saying though...if it were on a baseball card from Topps or something it'd be worth more? I don't understand that.

No I meant its almost like Pulling a Ryan auto BALL from Topps Archives or whatever. Sorry everyone I am not gonna give it up for $65 no matter what these guys say.

i agree with pujols---its all bout the odds and everything and it being from where its from. I see that you can buy onef or $65--but this with the tristar thing and being from the set, its better..i dont know how we can tell, but i just sorta see it pujols05's way

if it were from a set, it probably would be worth more since it's authentication would be very reputable. since it's not and it's from tristar... $65 is probably right on.

lol ok no matter if i say its worth 10 and some1 else says ite worth 65 it doesn't matter it matters what pujols' price is so I think he should give a set price then go from, there w/ tristar authentication i would book it between 100-150

Thank you jerseycardfan. I would like around $125-$150. Why dont you guys go on Ebay and buy them for around $100. NOT $65.

I know what you were saying and I was sticking up for you. I'm not telling you to trade it for $65.

Dannyboy-Sorry didn't see your reply up there but thanks. Thats exactly the way I see it.

Cubs-Sorry I just got confused by this:
...if it were on a baseball card from Topps or something it'd be worth more? I don't understand that.
Thank you both for your input. Hopefully that will change some other peoples minds.
Thanks,
Kyle

I see both sides. I would hope for big bucks if I pulled it but on the other hand, being a Ryan fan myself I don't know that I would value a ball certified by Tristar greater than one certified by The Noaln Ryan Foundation.

As far as a price. There is only one listed by a dealer on Beckett currently. His price is $119. Most Beckett.com prices a a bit higher than what I would pay, so I guess that puts the price in the $100 range. One other thing though, Nolan recently signed with Tristar so I assume he may do a few shows with them. If that's the case - these prices may drop a bit from here. Nolan is not known as a show person which supports his higher prices.

Bstee- Ya but like jerseycardfan said " its from a set", that will make it worth more.

gioperation-Thanks, but I guess its not good enough for a few of these guys....? I like it.
Chris sorry I have the McGwire. Do you have any Pujols rookies/autos/gu? PLMK.
Thanks,
Kyle

I really didn't mean to deminish the find. Looking at Ebay over the last few months there was not a single Tristar Nolan ball listed that was pulled from the Treasures packs. In fact there were almost 30 Clemens listed and I'd assume those are tough pulls also. I have little respect for Tristar - as the packs go, not as far as authenticators go. I opened a couple packs of their graded cards and was surprised by how bad they were.

I got a 1992 Leaf McGwire graded BCCG 10 and a similar Sheffield. What a waste.

My point is not that Tristar stinks - but that they are very stengy with the good stuff, and I wouldn't be surprised to find they only seeded one to 10 Ryans in the whole run. SWo it was indeed a very tough pull.
