emmitt smith is a hall of fame running back who a week or two ago was released by the cowboys it wasn't right of them because he has been so loyal to them and could have gone to so many teams but stayed because he is a honest and now just because parcells comes in emmitt is out something is wrong here? wut?

I think it was a mutual decision. Emmitt can still play, but the Cowboys need to build for the future. Hopefully Emmitt can help some team make a Super Bowl run.

It was business. I'm sure Jones / Parcells respected Emmitt, but in the end I can see where it's best to let go of the past so to speak and look to the future. The only thing I'm wondering is what steps Dallas is gonna take to get another top notch back. Troy Hambrick is a joke.

They should not have let Emmitt go. The guy is the top rusher in NFL history all with the same team. It doesn't seem fair to let him go just because he is a tad on the old side. He may not be able to play like he used to but he is still a good player and I would not hesitate to have him on a team if I had one.
