Starting immediately, all card cash auctions need to be placed on SCF's sister site, HobbyBuddy. This will allow everyone to set up their auctions as they see fit without the hassles of who placed the final bid and so forth. This will also clean up some of the posting clutter on auction threads.

All current auctions will be allowed to run their course here at SCF. Any auction started from this point on at SCF will be deleted and the user will be asked to place it on HobbyBuddy.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and making SCF what it is today!

The link is on the forum page right above the trading forums, therefore there's no point in posting it here... WOOF WOOF!

As a question....

When you bid on SCF Card Cash auctions, how does the Dollar value relate to the Card Cash value?

When it says "40 USD" does that mean 40 CardCash or some other amount?

Yes that's correct.

The dollar amount equals the cardcash amount.

I acquire something on this site and have to sign up on another site to use it? Hmm, that doesn't seem right.

What is your problem Chris? You don't have to go the hobbybuddy to use cardcash. You can use it all you want right here. It is an option. The idea was to offer a better auction interface than simply using the forum software. We looked into integrating the databases so that you didn't have to reregister but there were quite a few complications with that. Also if we did that people who signed up at hobbybuddy would automatically become SCF members meaning we could never prune the non active members again because we could be deleting hobbybuddy members.

If you've got a problem with something PM me or post it in the suggestions forum.

No you don't have to sign up at www.hobbybuddy.com to use it. Cardcash still works only on this site.

But we've moved the cardcash auctions over there so that we don't have a problem with auction end times (since on this board it doesn't count the seconds).

And you were one of the reasons why we created it because you brought up the problem here about auction end times:

http://www.sportscardforum.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53991

You had a problem and made a suggestion and then we fixed it.

How does that not seem right?
