Congrats to Brian (Project 4) on his David Carr collection! Carr was one of the young talents in this league at one time, however like Brian, I am sure many put a good amount of money and time into him. Congrats to Brian on this collection, and being a fan to collect David this long. Nice collection!


I'm going to give my David Carr collection a shot. I know he's just a back up QB but I collected most of his cards while he was still a starting Qb with the Texans.

Amount Owned/Amount Produced (not including 1/1)= Owned

833/1810=46%

152(102 GU/50 Autos)/816 (647 GU/ 169 Autos)= 18%

Been collecting him since 2004. His cards didn't come cheap as with most young QB's but after he got traded it got easier to collect him. I'm a huge Texans fan and was disappointed he didn't do well with them. I'm hoping he at least gets a Superbowl ring with the Giants this year.

Thanks everyone! I'm happy to share my collection with people who enjoy collecting as much as I do. It didn't quite turn into the investment I had in mind but being a huge Texans fan made it really fun to collect David Carr. Yeah, he was great off the field. Wish he would've been the same on it. Class act all the way even after the Texans traded for Schaub.

Great collection....because of Ryans (and now Antoine Caldwell!) the Texans are my second team I root for in the NFL...well, until Ryans and crew start interfering with my Titans in the standings. From the looks of what's going on in Houston, that day should be coming pretty soon.
