hey ,
thought I would give everyone a heads up...this fellow cuts up perfectly fine base cards...slaps a piece of something on them and then stamps them 1/1...he is a thief...he deliberately misrepresents these in his auctions...
beware...also feel free to ask him if they are certified pack pulled cards...
friends don't let friends buy fakes!

Yeah, while they might be ok for somebody to collect just thinking they are neat looking, it's his wrod that the memorabilia is authentic and from the actual driver. I already do not trust any eBay seller that keeps all of his auctions private. That should "almost" be a clue that the person could be a sham.
Definately cards of this type should be pypassed so as not to encourage sellers to flood the market with this kind of junk.
Thanks for posting it Chris!!!

I recall someone had done a triple firesuit using an 07 Stealth of Stewart/Yeley/Hamlin in a similar fashion.
These are as bad as the "Diamond Collection" or "Special Olympics" 1/1's that were prevalant several years ago on eBay. Anyone with the ability to foil stamp can make any old thing they want. Another of the unliscensed fakes were the Rising Star Legend Series #ed to 3 or #ed to 50.
While I have no issue with someone cutting up sheetmetal or firesuits or whatever and making their own displays or what not, when you foil stamp, it's crossing a line.
I keep a Stewart card archive on disc and add these fakes in the hopes of educationg folks.

as a precaution...everyone may want to add him to your e-bay favorite sellers list with the title ...fakes....
I will post a different seller tomorrow...this fellow will pull plain colored pieces from cards and replace them with chase authenics hat pieces among other items...

this is the seller that has glued pieces of material over others to create 2 color race used...he has also placed a vinyl strip over a plain legends firesuit...basically if he has something and it looks too good to be true it probably is...
they do have some legit items listed but when they add a pretty one it is often altered...I have scans of some of their better work..
