Are you a member of any driver fan clubs? Which ones? What do you like the best about it? The least? How long have you been a member?

I'll start.

I've been a member of Brian Vickers' fan club since 2006. It wasnt that "big" or anything then and they really didnt do a whole lot with it. Last year a new guy took it over and he did a lot to add to it but not much. This year they're completing redoing everything and adding a BUNCH of stuff. They describe it as facebook meets myspace. Message boards, live 24 hour chat, and points. I'm not sure how we'll earn points but they can be used to "buy" stuff. They're giving away Club V Event passes too. I'm gonna do my best to win them.

Like the best: Its a BV community. Most members know each other from various other online things. They do more than most of the other clubs and try to give us what we want. Almost everything thats included this year is things that the members asked for.

Like the least: Sometimes slow with updating but other than that I havent found anything that I dislike about it.


In 2006 I also joined JJ Yeley's fanclub but remained a member for just that year.

I used to e into fan clubs, Was in the Ricky Craven Fan club since 1996. I liked being in his fan club cause they had meet and greets, I got to know Ricky, KK and his kids, The inlaws Jim & diane and his sister Lori, The fan club has pretty much stopped since he wasnt driving, The sponsers didnt want to give away anything in the fan club package. Pretty soon you were getting fan club packages with just a postcard and a Certificate and the meetings were being held in Maine. I was in tony stewarts fan club for a year but everything was soo expensive for me.

I do think there worth it if you get to meet the driver and get his autograph. Lots of drivers only sign through there fan club. I have considered joining another fan club just got to find the right driver now :)
