I'm looking to gauge interest in this as a case break. This would be one of those where the case is done via draft order. I haven't crunched the numbers yet but it would look a lot like this:

Basically...everyone gets to create their own Ultimate box...higher the price, the better box you can create...I can do as many cases as there is interest...normal group break rules apply in regards to who gets the top slots and so forth...

I'm quite new to the forum and more so to case breaks. I've watched 100 of them on youtube and have always wanted to get involved in them. I'm a bit confused as to how they actually work, and what advantage the higher picks have?

The higher the pick, the better the "hit" card you can get...

For instance, the #1 picks gets to pick their card from all the cards from the break, then pick 2 and so forth...

That's why the higher picks cost more...

i think i will be interested too...sounds fun....but just for clarifications, you will randomly draw the spots for the 15 who are in the break and then we pay for that spot, correct, because i am seeing different people trying to buy the top spot, but i dont think that is how it works?

Prices are not set in stone...that was to give an idea of how slots would break down...this thread was meant to gauge interest in a future group break...

I def think every other slot should be cheaper and the #1 slot should be a lot more expensive. Because the #1 is usually A LOT more than $20 more than the #2 pick.

I like the snake idea too. Its like a fantasy draft.

The bottom 3-4 people are not treated too fairly IMO. The difference between hit #15 and #16 is almost negligible, but there will be a huge difference between #1 and #15. I don't think the price discrepancy justifies the #1 slot getting the case hit and a card of probable equal value to the person who drafts #15.

There are also 9 auto's per case. Maybe cut the # of participants to 10 per case instead of 15 in addition to the snake proposal?
