Removing the authentication sticker?

Has anyone tried removing the authentication sticker (PSA, GAI, Spence, etc) from an item? Does it leave a bad residue?

I ask because I have a couple items of Reggie Bush/Matt Leinart signed by only Bush. However, it has the GAI authentication (and the GTSM Bush sticker).

I'm getting Leinart to sign his side of the items, but with the news of GAI's demise, I'm to assume PSA will be doing the authentication on site.

I don't want to have mismatched authentication stickers on the items so I was debating on whether or not to try to remove the GAI sticker. I realize its a bit trivial, but I think the pieces would look a lot better without different authentication stickers.

Any ideas?

Never remove the Authentication Hologram/Sticker

I would leave it on. I've seen pieces with different authentication stickers on them. Nothing wrong with that.

If you absolutely have to remove it & it does leave residue, you can remove it with a product called "Goo Gone" sold in scrapbooking type stores.
