yeah at least the bengals improved. good draft and some quality FA signings. the cards lost their 3 starting WR's, were questionable in drafting, and forced to trade a good RB in thomas jones just for a servicable WR. not to mention losing the best QB ever jake plummer, LMAO, jk.

cincinnati fans keep saying the bengals will finish 8-8. i cant see them winning more than 5 games.

8-8 would be a great start, but remember, they should have won 4-5 last year. as hard as this may seem, they were not as bad as their 2-14 record. i think they are 2-3 years away, but they have the talent. they have as much or more talent as any other team borderline playoff bound and have a good, defensive minded coach. their defense on the line is solid and with hardy, simmons and foley at LB that is solid. the only concern i see with them is the secondary and special teams, we were AWFUL on ST last year, the only bright spot being KR brandon bennett. the secondary could get some help if dennis weathersby continues his progression, with tory james thats 2 decent corners. our safeties but VERY talented with manuel, thompson and armour. the line with levi and willie and now steinbach are all young and gonna be around, and at the skilled positons we are always underachieving. 8-8 is SO TOUGH in the NFL no matter who you are, but i am geniuinely excited for this bengals season, the first time i have said that in a long while.

But look who's starting QB this year. I read on ESPN that the coach plans to ride Palmer on the bench this season and work him into play here and there. Kitna couldn't serve me water. They'll be improved, but not by much.

check out kitnas stats last year, he was in the top half of the league in alot of categories, he isnt as bad as others. hes as good as jake plummer anyday but bronco fans are convinced they are saved.

Man, they should have had that one against Buffalo. Im not happy about the 1-4 start, but I am happy about how they have been playing. They are greatly improved, and Kitna is a good QB between the 20s. After the bye, they have baltimore, seattle, arizona, houston. If they keep playing this way, maybe they could win 3 of those 4!

this thread has actually been dormant a while, but coming off 2 straight home wins and 2 winnable games heading to the showdown with the chiefs, i say GO BENGALS!!!

In Marvin We Trust!!!

damn, that coach Lewis has got the team smokin'!!!

and with the way it's looking, it doesn't look like Carson Palmer will play much this year, as Kitna's been doing well

Bench Dillon and play Rudi

THEY BETTER NOT FREAKEN BENCH DILLION. I have him on my team and ive picked up 1 qb 1rb and two wrs this year all rdy because my lineup runs outta people due to injuries

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.. I traded breese cuz i needed a qb.. Now that mcnairs on the bye look who gets hurt DAVID CARR ((was my third string)) but now i needed another one

pick up rudi johnson, i think corey dillon's success in cincinnati is probably done. i like corey, but its time to move on without him. marvin will agree and he will be gone after this year.

RedMania

i think they will make the playoffs this year, they have a few holes on defense and the carson/kitna situation is a bit delicate, but there is no reason they cant go 10-6

their offense especially is gonna be very very good

the bengals have a very bright future believe me...with a defenese minded coach like they have watch out in a couple years.....defense wins superbowls and so doesnt tommy go p-a-t-s....
