I Just finished opening a box of 2008-09 UD Series 1 (Hobby Box)
I DID NOT RECIEVE ONE SINGLE YOUNG GUN CARD in the WHOLE BOX!

Not even 1 INSERT....i recieved 5 cards that are beyond damaged!

Two Jersey cards
1- Hannu Toivonen.....YOUPPI
2- Ladislav Smid............MOJO?

I AM SO MAD I CAN SPIT!
i am writting an email to UD RIGHT NOW

has this ever happen to someone else?
This was a factory sealed box, the UD Seal and all

no, i bought this box from the hobby store i always buy from.....NEVER had any problems

Ouch - tough break - make sure the shop owner knows - he might be able to help you with Upper Deck

upper deck did not help me at all

I think they'll send you 4-5 YG's, last person who got screwed like that got some of the better one's i think, but good luck with it.

hey, this happened to me Xmas time

no Young Guns

email Upper Deck, they will ask you to send UPC's off box

i did so and they sent me, Brassard, Wheeler, Pardy and someone else YG's to replace, but it took them 2 months

you were the one i was talking about.

just be kind to them in your email, or they wont send you squat

i was kind....i also marked down all the #'s from the box (bar code, etc etc )

yeah, that was me lol, wasnt so bad tho seeing they sent me wheeler and brassard, because the 6 i could have got could have been alot worse

Patrick - dont write them down, cut them out and lay aside, i had to send them all in, if you send damaged cards they will also replace them

thats what im waiting for....like i said i have all the things needed, so im just waiting for the heads up to send!

I'm with you. i got 4 boxes of series 1 with not 1 YG. (I think the whole case was like that) They told me last week they where going to make it right. Havent arrived yet but I will let you know.

Gl with them and stay on them. Have been working on them since december.

There was another topic with an insane number of YGs, they might be packed in those packs.
I feel your pain, this is very bad thing from UD :(

be kind to upperdeck and they will def. help you out...Granted, it will take A LONG time to get them probably, but if you are cool, they will make sure you get something!

That sucks one time a opened a pack the card was creased right in half!

the only thing Black that UD sends out are black eyes... and the odd kick in the junk

I opened a box last week and although I got 6 inserts I did not get 1 YG. I called U/D at their 1 800 number and talked to them. Luckily I still had the box the cards came in, box was from a card shop and still sealed. They asked me to send the hologram and the UP code to them and they would send me YGs. They want you to send them by registered mail so it cost me more money. Hopefully they will send me the YGs I was supposed to get plus some bonus cards. ISNT U/D GREAT ESPECIALLY THEIR QUALITY CONTROL DIVISION.:rant::confused0024::sign0020:

what really gets me, is that yah i got all the necessary codes and #'s and what not's.......but i know im gonna wait like 3 month's and UD will probably send me like 6 non name YG's
Like i said in a previous post, i just started collecting again....and this experience is enough to make me boycott UD and start collecting ITG

just happened to me but with a box if UD series 2 08-09, Almost all my cards were damaged too so I feel ya man

This box HAD to of been a reject box or i dont even know what to call it, out of the 24 packs, i did not recieve ONE SINGLE Young Gun rookie card (it states odds are 1:4....i bought boxes in the past and i ve recieved 6-7 once i got 4.....but i know that odds dont reflect on the print run.....BUT TO NOT RECIEVE 1 ......?
Not only did i not recieve ANY Young Gun rookies, i didnt recieved 1 lousy insert!
I Got a bunch of base cards ( 6 of which are damaged ) and 2 lousy no-name Jersey Cards ( this i can live with, but i mean come on.....)

I Want compensation for this lousy box that i recieved!
I Kept the box and the wrapper!

Then i attached the #'s on the box!

Sounds fine. I'd also call them up.

Yah i noted the phone number and im gonna give them a call from work!
