View Full Version : Hasek Making A Comeback
akanabar 06-24-2003, 07:14 AM Sources have it that the Dominator is coming back to the Red Wings to win another Cup. Cujo would have to be traded because he is still on the books for $8 million this year, The Wings would also have to resign Yzerman and Fedorov for a chance at the Cup. Instead of cutting payroll like they wanted to, they are picking up MILLIONS. Post your thoughts on the Wings fiasco.
haybierman 06-24-2003, 09:14 AM I heard the flyers were trying to get him.
hockeyrules9911 06-24-2003, 09:51 AM i bet he will be going to detroit. It's not like they were to happy with COJO this season
akanabar 06-24-2003, 11:54 AM There are also reports that Hasek will be Patrick Roy's successor in Colorado.
Streetjammin911 06-24-2003, 12:34 PM Before Cuj was signed, it was always rumored that Philly and him were both attracted to each other. If the Wings can pick someone up from Philly, like, a Simon Gagne, that'd be great. That is, if Cujo wants to go there.
akanabar 06-24-2003, 12:37 PM The Flyers have to trade John LeClair to make room for CuJo.

As for him coming back, i'm all for it. He's a winner, and if we can get him back, and pick up Hatcher, we should be poised for one last run before the whole labor agreement thing is up.
RedMania 06-24-2003, 11:58 PM if he went to colorado, that would have wings fans steaming.
radioheadfloyd 06-25-2003, 12:01 AM The wings are going to pay both of these guys fat contracts?? Colorado doesn't play the free agency game... but I don't know if Aebischer is ready to start... Where did Potvin go?
Tigers#1 06-25-2003, 12:12 AM The Rangers and Flyers are already bidding for Curtis Joseph.
studin 06-26-2003, 10:19 AM I'd like to see Hasek in Colorado. Beating the Wings. Cujo stabbed Edmonton and Toronto in the back so this is what he gets. How does it feel Curtis? Feels good to have someone you thought you could trust turn on you doesn't it?
Tigers#1 06-26-2003, 02:10 PM Hasek is only going to come back to play with the Wings. He's not looking to comeback to whoever will let him, just the Wings.
billsfan2006 06-26-2003, 02:17 PM HES GOING BACK TO THE SABRES LOL
studin 06-26-2003, 03:38 PM Then maybe he could convince Federov to come to Buffalo. hehe
Tigers#1 06-26-2003, 03:43 PM If Buffalo's stupid enough to pay him more than 10 million a year, then they deserve him.
akanabar 06-29-2003, 07:48 AM if the Wings don't sign Hasek by Jul. 1st, he becomes an unrestircted free agent.
studin 06-29-2003, 09:07 AM Maybe he'll be a New York Ranger. Has Richter decided on retirement or anything?
akanabar 06-29-2003, 09:32 AM i don't know about Richters future. with all the injuries, he should be done soon.
studin 06-30-2003, 10:44 PM Hasek has officially signed with the Wings along with Darren McCarty and Jason Woolley.
Tigers#1 07-01-2003, 01:57 PM They signed McCarty and Wooley too! Sweet-O!
