Dale,
I think there are still some Richards around here in Halifax. If you need one I can grab one for you next time I'm at Wally World. I have also yet to see the Koivu/Kovalev set here and I haven't seen any on eBay either, which is pretty odd.

I hope to the hockey gods that the boxes get better. Other wise I'll repaint them myself. McFarlane must have run out of colors.

Too much ink used in the Spawn comics!

Also, as a fun side note for us OCD Habs fans: there will be a Carey Price variant!

Yeah, a black mask. Does that make any sense?

The only time Carey has ever worn a black mask was when he played with Team Canada. It would be AWESOME if that was the variant.

I used to see the Maurice Richard all the time at the Wal-Marts in Belleville and Peterborough when they were out. There could still be a few kicking around in stores since I remember even seeing some a few weeks ago (assuming that they're the ones you're talking about).

I got my Rocket on ebay when it came out...is this the normal release one or a 100th anniversary one?

The Centennial Richard, per my post above, comes out in September. He's after the normal release, which I still need to PM him about. LOL

So I finally found the Kovalev/Koivu 2-pack at my local Wal-Mart this morning. It was on the high shelf...two rows over from where they keep the rest of the McFarlane figures. I barely caught it out of the corner of my eye (my ability to find a Habs logo in a haystack is considerable) and had to have a little fun getting it down, but yeah, it's mine now. They did a really nice job with these two and I like that they're both wearing classic jerseys. I really hope we don't see anybody wearing the Barber Shop jerseys in a future release!

Yeah, a black mask. Does that make any sense?

They've updated the page. Whereas before it was listed as a "variant "black mask," which according to their definitions would mean they goofed up and accidentally rolled out some with Carey in a black mask, there is now a "chase" "white mask" version.

Carey's debut! Hopefully he'll have the original pads as well!

hahaha you never knew that...that is what ****** me off about Mcfarlanes...they are allweays the same **** poses...like releaseing GRANT FUHR, oilers legends, team canada, toronto, and calgary, all differnet years and series, but the same **** figure! smarten up TODD!
A true artist would capture the athlete in a signature pose and that is all! you wouldnt see a Patrick Roy is a Dryden stance with a stick under his chin would you!

WHAT about release dates...is ther any way you can find out when these thigns come out and where?
I have seen some in Walmart but not out yet at Toys R us...and vice versa.

Any indication when the next set of HABS are to come out...or when the carey price and crosby series is hitting shelves...

Unfortunately the McFarlane website doesn't give anything other than a month on the calendar. It's getting pretty late in March so I'm really hoping for this coming Tuesday for the next wave.

so is TUESDAY a key day for releases?

movies new releases are released every Tuesday...are mcfarlanes as well?

I need to know as Driving back and forth to walmart every day will get me bankrupt on gas! lol
calling is not an option. some people work there as their IQ is less than a turnip.

Heh, yeah I know the feeling about customer service over the phone. This past Tuesday was the first day that I'd seen the 2-packs and for whatever reason it is new release day for pretty much everything. I don't know about your location, but out here they're virtually always a couple weeks behind the "official" release date of most figure products.
