It's made all the sweeter knowing that there are only 4 players from that set whose Gold Rainbow has a lower print run. I don't know why, but I just think that's really awesome.

Good job! I've always been a fan of the 1st-year Golds and Black Rainbows...very sharp! I've actually had the Gold 3/6 on my watchlist for a while...lol, I don't collect Josh, but it's just a cool-looking and very short-printed card. Do you mind me asking how much you gave up for your copy?

The guy that sold me mine was attempting to build the Gold Rainbow set for a while but had to give up on it as the challenge was just too much, so he's helped out a few people with the PCs.

Yeah, $195 is his BIN. Did you get yours from Joel (JoelCarry) by chance? Last I knew, he was building the Gold sets as well. I sure wish that they would have included Filppula in the Gold set, but for whatever reason, he was 1 of only 2 or 3 players that didn't have a Gold parallel. :confused0024:

Ugh...too bad to hear that he threw in the towel...he had to have been getting pretty close. :ashamed0001:
As for asking UD...I gave up trying to get them to answer questions long ago. :rant: The biggest mystery to me (that nobody there seems to know anything about) is why the Filppula Hot Prospects auto RC /999 redemptions were never fulfilled...yet I have both his shield/auto 1/1 and one of his White Hot patch/auto /5's from the same set...:confused0024::suspicious:

Even some of the lower-end players would be a challenge on the Gold Rainbow due to their jersey numbers, and of course the Black Rainbow 1/1 is the great equalizer.
