Was pretty much taken off-guard with the deal that included the Retro Teammates. A football collector contacted me a couple weeks ago, and said that he was interested in some of my football traders. He said that he only had a total of 4 hockey cards, but said that they were all "pretty decent"...they turned out to be the Retro Teammates, the Active 8, the All-Star Teammates, and the Tools of the Game jsy/auto! So even though 2 of the 4 were Colorado-related cards, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to move some of my football stuff for them! I was pretty excited to land my first high-end Moose card that features him as an Oiler...and having that Wayne guy on there doesn't hurt, either! :rolleyes:

Joshua, GREAT haul pal. I personally love that Bourque TOTG Jersey Auto and of course the JMFJ Ice rookie is super sweet!

I have to admit, that Calvin Johnson card is sparkly, twinkly neat-o! I miss DLP products....................thanks for the share bro!

Barrie-Wow, you actually like the looks of that Bourque TOTG?! :tongue0020: Now I realize that it was SPGU Hockey's inaugural year and all...and I did like the overall TOTG design...but they REALLY should have scrapped the bronze idea, imo!! :nono::nono: Don't get me wrong, the silvers and golds looked a bit better, but I think that a simple white design w/bronze/silver/gold stamping for each tier would have sufficed. This was the major issued that I also had with 05/06 SPGU...but that release was even worse, imo, with the added fugliness of sticker autos! :sign0079:

And yeah...for years I have dreamed of a Donruss Elite/Payoff Contenders/Playoff Absolute hockey line-up :party0053:...perhaps someday! :pray::pray:
