Decided not to continue with the 2007/08 Ultimate Signatures set. Details in my blog:

http://www.sportscardforum.com/blog.php?b=257

My heart just wasn't in it, couldn't find the drive to collect like I had with the Puck Signings.

Expect some more box breaks in the coming months :winking0071:

you know breaking boxes of new stuff just gives you the opportunity to start collecting new sets :D

I would never thought Id be collecting a set this year, but Im doing the Champs minis now.

Strongly considering doing the Natural History set, I'll see how I like them when my box arrives next week :)

I haven't really been up to date on the Champs set but is there still the T-Rex and/or Raptor fossils? The only ones I've seen on ebay are the Wooly mammoth and some other one that a couple people on this site have pulled.

T-Rex yes, Raptor unfortunately no. It's too bad too, it was the one card I was looking forward to most. I still want the other fossils though, since I am sentimental and always enjoy pieces of history.

The T-Rex must be a very short printed one then.I wasnt big on the idea of these cards at first but they are starting to grow on me. It may be an expensive set to go after, but I'm considering it. It's one of the only sets out there that is truely unique.

That's too bad but completely understandable, especially with not completely the Pucks yet.

Good luck with the boxes ;)

I think you are right about the T-Rex, I haven't seen or heard of any being pulled yet. The Mammoth is by far the most common (those huge bones can make for a ton of card-sized slivers). I am not concerned about the scarcity, more the sentimental value to me. I am just waiting for the prices to level off a bit as they seem high right now for the number that are out there, then I'll snag one. The other SP's will be very pricey!
