Hey everyone I'm new to this site and had a question about the value of an un opened box that i have. Its a 1992 booster box from the "Ultimate trading card company" where each pack includes 9sports and has a count of 36 packs. it also states there is a limited edition Bobby Hull hologram card. The box still has the plastic over it as well so everything is still in there. Does it have any value or is it ok to just continue to keep in the closet? :) thank you for any help you can provide

I do recall this set, and stayed away from it back then. My brother-in-law bought a box of this in 94 from a liquidation outlet for six bucks. He cracked it open, made a set, but didn't get a hologram like was promised. He went back to the same store bought another 3 boxes(there was something like 100 available) and made more sets(plural) and still no Holo. Back in that era, card companies sprung out of the woodworks trying to capitalize on the huge surge that was going on, and made claims, like gauranteed holo's. Ultimate heroe's was kind of a defeatest in this instance, and interest was never there for it. I will have to say for this instance that the box you have would only be useful to you if you have an urge to bust a box when your in between paydays, or hand it down to your kids to hand down to thiers. Who knows, in a hundred years, still wrapped, might become of interest to somebody..... But thats a hundred years.

Like he said. The set book way under 10$ and the Hull a little over 20$
