I am torn on this one. I know the Limited Logos cards have some stellar pieces but also I have never seen UD use Rangers alternate jersey pieces on any Messier cards, just the dark blue jersey or home jersey.
If it is real, it's pretty darn nice. Thoughts?

I saw this last night (I think Zack pointed it out), and from looking at the picture it doesn't look like there was any tampering with the patch window

I don't know about this... Most of those Messier Limited Logos has all-red patches and could have easily been the victim of patch faking to make it look better. And yes the seller has good feedback but it might not have been him that would have faked it, he could have picked it up at a show from somebody else with the intention of flipping it on eBay.

I sent the seller two messages the past 2 days inquiring about whether he pulled it from a tin or bought it from someone. No reply as of yet........stay tuned.

I would wonder.... UD isn't exactly known for making patches THAT nice. If it's real though.... wow.

The fake patch alarm would normally go off on that one. Too perfect. Too centered. But then again...it is from The Cup and with a price tag like that they better give you some darn fine patches!
There's another Messier patch from the same set up for sale, simple two-color patch. No comparison between the two patches. In fact, none of the Cup Logo cards currently on ebay come close to this card. Also, I don't like the way the serial number is hard to read. On most other scan it is easily discerned.
Very tough call!

exactly why I think its fake. I am guessing that it costs UD more to get alternate jerseys and to get one of Messier would be a fortune and i just think theres no way this is legit
